yes......i just talked to a buddy who said i might have to get some sandpaper and rub the paint off the chassis maybe.....and then he said to also run the remote turn on to the power on the amp and "jump" it and see if that does anything. should i do so? -

understandable..... well yes i have those 5 wires to my amp and then of course the woofer's cables as well first off i have the positive wire from the battery through the firewall and ran to the positive plug on the amp and with the inline fuse about 8 inches away from the battery then i have the remote turn on lead and rca cables ran on the opposite side of the power cable ran to the amp as well and have the turn on lead crimped to the h/u and rca's plugged in the back of the h/u and to the amp the ground is connected to the amp and grounded to the chassis via self-tapping screw ahhhhh im soo confused -
12" ssd bp and flatwind options ordered it yesterday now i need help on dimensions for a sealed box any help or suggestions?

i want loud and boomy haha...and yet detailed.....i've yet to hear someone out here in my town with something that sounds good besides my old neighbor who had 2 12" infinity's that i believed were sealed and he had all his gains negative and still his dash jumped like nothing i've ever seen before.... everyone here has kicker and visonik (yuck) and nobody's sounds good and clear. im on a budget and im just lookin to be louder then anyone out here.....i'll start cleanin up the sound when i have the money, i want to put some tweets in my a pillars by sometime before next summer.....but for right now i'll just have the 12" ssd and stock 6x8's in the front and rear doors =[

ok....thought i'd have to get a used amp whats some good reliable amps i should check out that i could throw at my ssd then?

i plan on buying this for my system fi ssd 12" d2 with flatwind and bp options have it in a sealed box with Hifonics BXI1206D amp powering it sound good? let me know what you think about it....

yeah....i've heard and read about sundown and haha yeahhh i want to eventually get a bl or btl....but...hahah....that might be a while.....i want something i can hook up quickly im tired of stock speakers...haha....but for christmas im getting myself a 10"ssd and with whatever else money i have by then which would probably be around $300 i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to a amp for it thats not complete chit...=P
