Question about big 3
Billetproof97' replied to Billetproof97''s topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
thanks for the pics... and what no TRD supercharger on that puppy? lol I can work with that. I will ground it like you did. I dont want to drill new holes or anything. and is that power wire touching the ehaust by chance? i was gonna route the power wire around the front of the radiator and use zipties on it. the exhaust is in the front just like that as well. plus a electric fan. thankyou for pics again. I got some ideas now on how to run the big 3. -

I am in bamberg, germany. Quite a ways away from raimstein. You must be airforce. You guys have it made bro. That Af base is amazing compared to the dump im at. I shall see if those tools are avaliable tomorrow when i take that class. -

Pro-rabbit how much for designs? I could measure my trunk area. Theres a car care center here. They actually have a class tomorrow. I am unsure if what tools are avaliable there. I have tools but nothing to build a box with. I could also go to the local lumber shops here for mdf/ or birch. I wouldnt mind building it myself, but i was recommended that i have it built by a "pro" fuels my fire. Hate when people tell me i shouldnt do something. But i guess its so i dont overspend on a box build if i mess it up -

Interesting thread. Why are speakers in the rear of a vehicle useless? Im sure the sound waves play a part? -

Should I buy audio equipment in germany?
Billetproof97' replied to Billetproof97''s topic in Off Topic
Haha i bet! Glad to see some audio guys here in germany that can speak english ha -
I Wasn't sure where to stick this, so I thought this would be the best place. Admins please feel free to move if need be. Im wanting to buy some audio equipment when my tax return comes in. Maybe 3 12's or a big 15, and a nice sized amp to power them to 1,500Watts. Problem is Im overseas in germany for the army and im guessing shipping would he outragous for a nice stereo setup from the states. Ive google searched and found some audio places local to me that Im going to check out this weekend to see what they have. and theres even a "home depot" like store down the street to where i can buy MDF board (knock on wood *pun intended*, ive only seen the place havent had the chance to go in just passed by on patrol one night) what do you guys think? Should I take the plunge and see what these germany audio companys have to offer? Or is the US the ones who do it bigger, louder, better than these foreigners?

From the album: my junk
97'chevy s10 bagged. not low enough due to inners still inside the engine bay. the truck is bagged on Thorbecke brothers 3 link with a behind and under the axle bag kit, the front is bagged with thorbecke brothers upper and lower tubular control arms with upper bag cups and a little shop of horrors bump steer linkage kit that replaces the whole front steering components. for air management the truck has 8 1/2 SMC valves with 1/2 DOT airline. connected to a 8 gallon air tank with 2 viair 480C compressors feeding the air supply. truck rides on Slam RE-7's for the rear and airlift 2B7 bags in the front(soon to change out for some Slam re-6's, truck also has a autopage car alarm, a optima red top battery, and a crappy 2.2L that will soon be changed out for a 5.3L/6.0L LSX/ T-56 swap -

The "little" system. 4 sundown audio E8's with a Sundown audio SAZ1000amp, 4 PG mids, 4 PG tweets, a hifonics 2-4 channel amp, and a very nice alpine deck this system is for my s10 but due to military and being overseas i sadly was unable to put it into my truck. hopefully one day when i return home i can start the build for it. -
not sure how the suspension is on the toyota, has anyone looked up a spacer for the spring by chance? maybe like a leveling kit like the lifted trucks have? if you went air suspension you wouldnt regret it. My s10 is bagged and i love it. only thing i would do different is instead of the 1/2 SMC valves id switch it all out for a accuair setup

Hows it going everyone? New to the forums. I came here from caraudio.com I saw this forum from one of the guys there and thought I would check it out. Hoping to learn a thing or two. I overseas right now serving in the army in germany. I like it here but wish i was back home. I have some audio equipment for my 97' Chevy S-10 4 sundown E8's, alpine deck, sundown saz-1200D amp and a hifonics amp. Pretty much just sitting in my closet at home due to the army, but im wanting some audio stuff for my 00' toyota camry. Kinda torn between do many options. I figured while im in germany i can spend my free time tinkering with caraudio Brandon

looking to get a good headunit pioneer preferred *used*
Billetproof97' replied to aimone's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Whoa!!! Those Pioneer Deh-80prs are pretty nice. I had one pioneer deck when i had my first car and i loved it. It wasnt anything fancy it lasted a long time 3 years then sold it to a friend for $10 and its still going strong today. I always thought alpine was top notch because my brother owned several but these pioneers are pretty nice. -
