ok, so this guy in brookline...does he still have anything to do with morel? who took over making the knock off stuff? because i think that might be one of the cousins of the isreal owner. either way, the only true morel distributor in the us is in philly, pa. if anyone wants to call up kevin campbell(the u.s. sales and marketing director) he will be more than happy to set you straight. 1-800-morel14. and where is this mw144 driver made? i'd bet my supremos that it's not in isreal

just wondering what all people have heard about alumapro? has anyone used their subs in the past or present?

well, these mw144's that you speak of are made by the imposter morel. morel acoustics is not a good company. the real morel is in isreal and the one in the us started after one of the cousins of the owner ran to america with all the designs from the company and made them cheaper and slightly different. subsuquently the quality suffered and if you look at both companies you will notice very similar things. if you go to www.morelhifi.com there is a warning on the very first page that tells you about this company. they are not the u.s. division of morel. they sell knock-offs of the real morel equipment. i hope this helps clear things up.

well, cjj2d if i can ever decide on a sub setup either the a600.2 or the a1200.2 will be up for sale. to tell you the truth i would like to use the a600.2 and sell the a1200.2, but i can't decide on 1 12 on the a600.2 or 4 10's/ 2 12's on the a1200.2. i would like to think one 12 is going to be loud enough, but i just don't know. plus i've alwayd liked the responsivness of 10's.

oh yeah, and to answer the question about the denon...don't know yet. i'm still about 2-4 weeks away from purchasing it. i will let you know though as i will be one a very few...i think like 4 people in the country that have one. i'm in between systems right now. the install on all that stuff is happening as we speak.

thanks for the complements on my amps guys. usually i get,"what's wrong with your amps? it looks like a third grader drew on them!" and my reply is, "yeah they're ugly, they suck, they're just getting me by until i can afford a nice, shiny, chrome audiobahn amp." i love ignorant people. at least i can count on them not wanting to steal my stuff! hahaha

hello everyone, i'm new to this board , but not new to car audio. let me just list my setup so there are no questions... denon dct-1 ppi par245and deq230 morel supremos, elate sw5.25's and 9's 2 ppi ax606.2's, 1 a600.2, 1 a1200.2 sub???? here is the thing, the two ax606.2's are dedicated to my three way setup up front, so i have a choice to run either the a600.2 or the a1200.2. i'm competeing in sq, but i'll have a sub volume control so i will be able to crank it when i want, but for the most part i'm looking for a sub(s) that will blend seemlessly with the rest of my components. i know you guys are probably biased towards the magnum, but if you are list why and what other subs you have tried. i guess i'm just looking for input on what will meet my needs. thanks in advance!
