    2000 Dodge Ram

I'll agree with that. It's slowly coming together. I'll let you know when I get a design together so we can get to building! I completely believe this as well. Again, I agree and can't wait to find out!! Agreed. I still have to run 1/0 power and ground, finish the amp rack, build the box and center console but I am waiting on some goodies from Knu and Parts Express and for the final specs on the sub. I may have a small update later tonight.

Picture time! Next to the 125.2 and the 1500D Next to its soul mate Comparison against my first sub from my uninformed and ignorant days. I will get some comparison pictures next to the Massive Audio sub once I pull it out. Thanks for the comments. I can't wait until it all gets pulled together.

hahaha. jk I know you were, funny thing is my parents have owned Fords, Chevys, and an International. The Scout was a beast but all have their issues. I owned a '77 Chevy Suburban and that was the best truck I have had. Sure it didn't have all the amenities of modern vehicles, but you gotta love a truck that you can sit in the engine bay while fixing it.

Worked on the amp rack the past two days. Same idea as the previous amp rack but using 3/4" MDF and angle iron. I used T- Nuts and allen head bolts to fasten the amps to the rack. Looks much cleaner than regular screws in my opinion, definitely worth the extra time. Bare seat frame Bottom of rack Top side Finished look Next up is running the wiring and cleaning up little details. My xcon should be here Monday!

    2000 Dodge Ram

I received two Sundown Audio amplifiers today. I have to say, I am a huge fan of the trade-in program that Jacob is running. It presented a fantastic opportunity for me to upgrade my amps. I was able to hook up the 125.2 that will be running my three-way passive front stage and after a good amount of play time, it was still cold. Big thanks to Jacob for a quality product and great customer service! The 1500D I got will have to wait until I pick up more 1/0, but I also am waiting on my xcon 12 to be built and shipped. I tried modeling out the xcon in WinISD and got .9 cubes for a ported box and .45 cubes IIRC for a sealed. I know that is way off of what is expected and I'm still not sure what went wrong. I read in another topic that recommended sealed is 1-1.25 cubes and I am guessing that ported is slightly larger than that. Does anybody have any input on this? I am thinking a blend of the two types of boxes with one port and making a plug to allow for a sealed alignment. Still undecided though.

300C Bagged on 24s, tear down and build log! Vid, P.6

Wow. First time I have actually regretted moving from Tucson. I would love to see that 300 in person. Maybe next time I swing down that way.

    2000 Dodge Ram

Now that spring is creeping in to the great Midwest, it is time for some upgrades! First update: The Dodge has been sitting in the driveway for a while with oil pressure problems. Oil pressure would drop to zero when it was really cold and I let the dealer look at it (big mistake). They said it was the oil pressure switch and charged me out the a$$ in labor for a 50 dollar part. I really hate not having a good garage to work in. After they supposedly fixed the issue, I was still having problems. This past Thursday it was a scorching 45 degrees here so I decided to drop the oil pan and see what the real cause could be. The oil pickup screen had hardened sludge on it (see picture below) and was in desperate need of a replacement. Got it all back together and ran some Seafoam through it and now the old 360ci is running in prime shape with full oil pressure. As far as audio goes, I sent in my amps to Jacob for a trade in. Hopefully I will be receiving a 125.2 and a 1500D soon! I will be taking the Massive Audio sub out and designing a center console to house an Xcon 12. I will also be relocating the 4 inch mid to the A pillar so there will be some fiberglassing to do. This will give me a chance to clean up the hastily made and terrible looking door pods. I am going to fully deaden the doors and maybe do more layers on the floor and back wall. Now all I need is my tax refund to start the ordering and the building!

    Welcome to the IHoP

This is more of what I was asking about. Conversing in the IHOP is great, but clicking the post button as many times as possible I just don't get. I finished my whole install without posting once. There is enough information floating around that there shouldn't be half the dumb questions that there are. I did the same thing. I searched threads and other forums and found the info I needed before I posted anything. I think it was either my first or second post was my build log and that was after close to a year of being a member here. This is a great community to be a part of, but only when it is used correctly.

Can someone please explain to me why it is so important to have a ton of posts? edit: Specifically the whoring variety. I get being here long enough to have 1,000 to 10,000 posts but someone who just joined recently going post crazy in the IHOP. I just don't get it.

You used the shoulder to pass a car on the interstate and almost hit a WALL. I did not almost hit the wall..i saw the wall..there was PLENTY of space! >_< it was the size of a car lane! Still an illegal pass. I know, It was an accident . I wasn't paying attention..i admit that. IT happens. That doesn't mean that i am a bad drive. neither dose it mean other women are bad drivers. .who are the people who mostly get in wrecks and total their vehicles? hmmm? o.O I've heard more about men causing traffic problems then women Anyway. We all mess up while driving, some people worse than others . An evasive maneuver because of a momentary lapse in judgment is OK. In fact, statistics do show that men are far more likely to drive recklessly than women. It's the whole testosterone and alpha male thing supposedly. I do completely agree with the statistics as I have done some really dumb things while driving. this is true but statistics also show that when they want men are for better drivers than woman. watch a show on it like last week on the discovery channel I guess it just depends on where you get your statistics.

    Chevy vs Dodge

I think Montes are 5 X 4.75 (120.6mm-ish). By the way, these are good questions but they could be answered with a quick Google visit.

    Chevy vs Dodge

Thank you. You are very welcome. I am an extremely slow poster apparently. If you like low, I assume you like flashy wheels and summitracing.com has some decent ones. I, personally, am more of a function over flash guy and I lift my trucks instead of lowering.

    Chevy vs Dodge

It will not work. Dodge Ram 1500 bolt pattern is 5 X 5.5 and GMC 1/2 ton 2WD is 5 X 5 and I think 4WD is 6 X 5.5. edit: Are you looking for strictly big and flashy rims or are you looking for something above an 18" that is also OK to get dirty?

    Welcome to the IHoP

I did the same a few weeks ago and when I came back here I just felt dirty and used. I needed a little "me" time after witnessing so many verbal assaults. It's freaking romper room over there. And I am going to give one of these - - to the gun convos as well. Closest I've ever come is launching potatoes with Axe spray.
