Ever wonder Why Fi has ther subs names like they do?

does ssd stand for "Standard Spec Driver?" or "Solid System Driver?"=)
  3. Oh ok.. Thanks for clearing that up.. Just got worried for a while. Thought there might have been some miscommunication on the order.. Thanks again Nick..
  4. I've already seen the tracking information on UPS about the BTL18 and BTL15 that my Aunt ordered for me. I was kinda worried when I saw the shipping weight on both packages. One package weighed at 69lbs which i assumed was the BTL18, while the other weighed in at 55lbs. I was expecting the BTL18 to have a 72lb weight considering that its fully loaded and packaged with wood reinforcements as to having wood reinforcement is very important because im gonna have it shipped to the Philippines together with the BTL15. Im just too concerned about their weight because I was informed that the BTL18 should weigh around 72lbs while the BTL15 should weigh around 69lbs. and im starting to think that either the BTL18 wasnt built "fully loaded" or the package wasnt reinforced with wood. Could someone please enlighten me regarding this matter. Thanks!

  6. ***Attention Fi Car Audio Staffs!*** This is a notice regarding the future ordering of two Fi BTL Subs. one 15" BTL (dual 2, cooling option, daily, universal) and one 18" BTL (dual 2, cooling, 3rd magnet, HiXmCoil, Daily, universal). I asked my aunt from CA to order it for me because im from the Philippines. I believe she already sent an email to sales -at- ficaraudio.com but im worried that she might not get a reply like from what ive experienced.. Could somebody from Fi give her some assistance cause she doesnt know anything about car audio stuffs AFAIK. She'll be using the email add dancast -at- comcast.net. Hope this info helps. Thanks!

MTX TA92001 for 18" BTL fully loaded

Thanks for the inputs guys.. I knew it! the alt will be a big set-back for my system.. but nothing much i can do about it cause thats the biggest alt that i can use for my car right now. btw, its a 98 Isuzu Trooper.. but id still try upgrading the alt.. i might get lucky and hopefully make something work for my car..
  9. im currently in the process of building my system using the said products in the Title.. my question are, will this amp be good if not perfect for the 18" BTL fully loaded? is the amp stable at 1 ohm? ive seen the specs of this amp but im kinda confused cause it was only CEA certified at 2000wrms @ 2ohms. i'll be adding a Kinetik HC2400 battery using a 90 amp stock alt and a regular battery? do you think my electricals can handle my system? and lastly, im gonna jail the sub with a 5cu.ft. (net) enclosure tuned at around 30 to 33Hz. will this planned system work? oh and btw, is that amp even good enough to work with in the first place?
