    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Looks like I'm going to go with an 1100maH ego-C Twist with the Kanger Protank 2. Looks like a solid starting point. Any recommendations on where to buy replacement coils? That site 970** has them, but $4 a piece is a little heavy.

Seahawks V.s Broncos 2014 Superbowl (post predictions here)

I had a little bit of money on Seacocks winning. It's really sad when your buddy hands you the payout.... at halftime. LOL

What is the difference between the eGo-T and H2 starter kits? Also, what maintenance is necessary for vaping? I don't mind buying juice and a shit ton of batteries, I'd just need to know which batteries and what else is necessary

Can someone Screenshot a website with the parts necessary for a vape setup. Inexpensive, for a pack a day menthol smoker? I need a throat hit without being overbearing, and the simplicity of "add juice and smoke".

Ascendant Audio.....Is it coming to a stop?

Well, there's at least a little light. I was just a little curious as the product line was cut down a bit. I was just guessing they were slowly closing product out. As material costs continue to rise, and the race to ZERO with cheaply built off the shelf rebadge brands popping up left and right, it is more and more difficult to compete. Which is making it ever more and more difficult to justify keeping the doors open at American made brands. Hence the slow disappearance of the smaller models of lower profit. I find this so frustrating. So many cheap garbage clone companies popping up lately. It's to the point that any 20 something can order clones and start a company with a new logo and semi-different heatsink and the kiddos blow them like they've developed the latest and greatest thing. That's the problem with our country now. There is NO innovation. The good companies develop great products and then get undercut by small-fry startups that don't even have a buildhouse, just a single rollup where they take orders and wait for a boat/truck to arrive. Thanks for ruining our once great country. I've been complaining about this for YEARS. It takes zero knowledge to start an audio company anymore. Just enough capital to meet minimum order quantities, and then the lemmings on the internet run around circle jerking each other about how this essentially off the shelf OEM product is the best new product on the market, despite the fact there are 10 other nearly identical products already on the market. Most of the time the owners don't know or understand their own products, or much about audio. They just thought it would be cool to start their own company and then get enough people to pimp them on the forums. It's ruining, or probably better stated already has ruined, the industry. I could not agree more. The little people with no understanding or knowledge of how things work get all kinds of excited about this amazing amplifier that will do 2.5k on stock electrical no problem whatsoever. When they blow the shit out of the woofer ie clipped to death, they all cheer on how underrated the amplifier must be because of the "insane amount of power" that blew the woofer. It's like falling on your face and being applauded for your superhuman balance. It has destroyed the market. There are two hell holes we've sunken into; the first being the people blowing eachother over the same gear that's been floating around for years with a new badge, and of course this retarded obsession with "custom" woofers. Every kid who knows how to use glue thinks they're a goddamned engineer. The result of course being a bunch of shitbox woofers with unknown parameters and therefore no way to build a proper enclosure BUT WHO CARES?! All people want is an inexpensive option to make enough noise to compensate for their inability to succeed in life. /endrant

This is just pretty much messing around. I can pretty much do anything you want. Find a font you like and I can make something, or a theme, whatever.

SEALED REAR CHAMBER BP ENCLOSURE (4TH ORDER)

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

I've got a lot of money in my shopping cart with them.... damn it man. Why did you have to show me these? Those DT-6's in Rosebud Shad..... Really impressive lures for sure. Are they rattlers? Or do they sell rattlers? Lots of good response on the Hot Shot rattlers but I've been looking for a replacement for them though because styles are limited. Interesting, I've never had any success ever with any Luhr Jensen. Not saying I haven't caught fish with them, but not many compared to other things in my tackle box. Only thing I've found are the Hot shot Gold/Green Pirates work pretty well for Steelhead fishing out here. Since they're definitely not going to be up in MN, I can see why they wouldn't help you out too much up there. We have great steelhead actually. Oh awesome. I didn't realize they were anywhere but the Pacific Northwest. We have a lot of luck with Hot Shot Rattlers out here. Give a Hot Shot Gold/Green Pirate Rattler a try, they work pretty well out here and they're dirt cheap. Nowhere near the quality of the Lure Me In's though, gonna have to try a couple.

Happy birthday bro, now go buy sell all the BS people bought you and buy something you really want.

    why? (4th order)

I've bothered that poor man more times than I'd like to admit and he always comes through. I would take his recommendations on the Ethos' as gospel. C/S at its finest.
  17. gprestonmoto

    why? (4th order)

Everything I have studied for 2 hrs basically says you're seled side privides deep solid bass, while the ported/open end tuning boosts upper frequencies. Also read the open side is generally a 2-3:1 ratio. I looked at a formula for calculateing bandpass boxes and mind melted.LOL I have the room in my AV to try one- but I just don't know if I'll be better just sticking to my ported design. The 4th order bandpass would be easier to build IMO when you take into account that it would only be 1 hole through my 'show' baffle. Anyone interested in designing something for 2 15" DSS Ethos...48wx20hx deep as you need. Q would probably design that for you. I thought he was offering a BP option on the subs for a good passband in 4th order BP.

    why? (4th order)

That's 4th order bandpass, not 4th order. They're meant to have a very efficient and small band of frequencies.

    Help with Box

Thanks. I might end up selling the 15" version of it. It's massive

    Help with Box

Thanks bro. Yea I figured it out with 3" port no problem, but I'm worried that it's not going to be enough port area. Doing a 4" port is possible if I invert the sub, but I don't wanna do that.

    Help with Box

I lied, I don't got it. BUMP BUMP BUMP. I'm trying to get a box to perform as flat as possible from 28-65 Hz. The sub models flat from 29-80Hz in 2.1 cubic feet tuned to 22.8 Hz but it looks impossible for my vehicle. I'm willing to try anything to get a flat response within my limitations, PR's, AP chamber, anything really. I'd really appreciate any experienced people's input. My maximum dimensions are in the first post. If the wedge won't work, I can do 11" as my maximum depth. Thank you in advance for your input!!! I'll post t/s parameters below in case can do something different. ANYTHING, I'm willing to do. My fabrication skills are no problem whatsoever, and by that I mean I have a fabricator that will be building the box, all I need is the design. Fs - 24.1 Hz Qms - 5.63 Vas - 49.8L cms - 0.126 mm/N mmd - 340g xmax - 17mm Qes - 0.45 Re - 2 Ohms Z - 2 Ohms BL - 16.1 Tesla/M Power Handling 1600w RMS Qts - 0.41 SPL - 89.4dB Voice Coil Diameter - 3" Displacement - 0.25 cu ft Mounting Depth - 7 1/4"
  24. Realistically, if you had a front stage that could truly "keep up" with a very high level of bass, you wouldn't be able to sit in that high frequency ear bleeding mess.
