    New to the Forum

Good Morning Bass Heads. I'm new to the forum (obviously), been lurking for about a year now, finally signed up. I'm a big fan of Incriminator Audio and their website led me here the first time. Plans include buying an 04 Touareg (possibly this coming weekend) and dumping it. Can't decide on what to put in it yet. I can hook up a basic car stereo and all of its parts but my knowledge on the whole subject of car audio is lacking. That's why I'm here.

I'm not seeing much IA builds here

I'm broke, trying to buy a new vehicle, and saving for some stereo, but man... regardless of what was available and how much money I had, I'd buy Incriminator. I love these guys. I have probably e-mailed them 8 times and they're ALWAYS lightning fast at responding to me. Max time for response was 2 days. I really put customer service up front, but I've also heard and seen these in person. They're awesome. Call me a fanboy, whatever, I am an IA fanatic.

    Component advice - 03 Tahoe

    ^^This as well for sure.
  5. I would fork the money for one of the pro's here to get you a design. Then head on down to Lowe's. It would probably come out the same price or less than the box you ordered. The design is the hard part. It doesn't take a ton of knowledge to actually build the box. I'm sure you can handle it. If not, a case of beer and some friends goes a long way.

    2- IB315 in the trunk

So I'm at work, and I definitely didn't plan on spending 2 hours reading through this here porn thread.... Thanks for the show though.
  7. I don't mean to be a dick, but why? SSA with a prefab box is NOT like putting a 100,000$ engine in a pinto. At least the engine could scream, this is more like having a big dick that all the ladies want and it's limp as a slinky. Not only are you wasting money on something amazing, you're not using it ANYWHERE near it's potential. Don't take this as insulting, I'm trying to do the sub justice.

    New guy

Welcome to the forum man. These guys are all pretty rad. No one will give you too much crap unless you don't read the rules for posting and use some common sense when asking for help. I joined this forum because I was tired of 3rd grade responses like "put a pair of 12w0's in a sealed prefab and you're so good brah!". People here are serious and that's what makes it incredible. Everyone is pretty generous with info so use it to your advantage.

    Component advice - 03 Tahoe

I'm not a SQ snob, but I am a fan of clear mids and highs, and to be honest, for the price and quality, I really can't think of something I'd rather have than the IA's. Inexpensive, bright, sharp, and come on you can't beat those looks. They just.... hide. Sleeper components for the win. Edit: I've owned some Hertz's and don't get me wrong, they're amazing, but unless your pockets are infinitely deep, they're just amazing enough for me to throw that kind of paper at them.

    first jeep...need some speaker advice

I know I'm still a rookie here, but I've been playing with car audio for awhile and if it was me, with a $200 budget, I'd invest in a pair of the Incriminator Audio Components and sound deadener. Comps are VERY reasonably priced and you can use the rest of your budget on deadening the doors. KEEP IN MIND (I've seen a lot of complaints on this), they IA's really like being amplified. I wouldn't waste money on "for right now" speakers. Buy the IA's, rock em ampless for a little while and snag a good quality amp for them. With their IA6.4 they sound really good, you can tell they were designed to get hammered by that amplifier, but a GTO-804EZ sounds pretty good as well. Just my 2 cents. P.S. - Another great amp choice is Earthquake's PH2200W/4. I'll post the links to these all below http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_38081_Earthquake-Sound-PH2200W-4.html http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_43363_JBL-GTO-804EZ.html http://store.soundsolutionsaudio.com/products/incriminator-audio-i-series-6-5-components.html http://store.soundsolutionsaudio.com/products/incriminator-audio-6-4-4-channel-amplifier100wx4.html

    New to the Forum

Thanks guys. I really want to do Incriminator DP's. I've been following Incriminator for a while now and I really like their stuff. I was just medically retired from the Air Force so cash isn't what it used to be and California living is expensive! Haha I'll be bumming the classified section for awhile until I get enough saved up to move forward. I love looking through the builds, I love the fact that no one get hammered for being new, unless they deserve it! This is an awesome forum and I respect all of you guys. Thanks for the warm welcome.
