so i measured the box after it was built and it came out to be larger then 3.853 cu ft. it came out to 4.3 something cubic ft internal volume

how many sheets of mdf would i need for a 4.25 to 4.5 cu ft box for two 12's and 2 cu ft per chamber and a 30hz tune going to build a box tomorrow so please let me know asap

Could you by any chance give me the depth or height of the front door speaker well better yet the dimensions so I can fine a little better to a lot better replacements for the speakers. I'm stuff guessing about the rear speakers behind the head rest I think they are 6 by 8 or 6 by 5. Do. You know

just built the box i will add some pictures to this so you guys can see. it came out to 3.853cu ft. i have to see how to add picture to this page/forum. i went with a hole in the back i think i will add a rubber grommet that will not let or let a very little air through

would there be anything wrong for have each chamber have there own port or should i have both subs use one port and where can i get terminal cups. and what is a good way to seal the cups

so the longest is 38x16 and i need 3 of that length so i can use 1 whole one and a few others

i might be going with a different company for the subwoofers. i saw that there is a swr 12d2 and on ebay there is a seller that makes kits for the switch

Would it be possible to recone a sws 12d2 to an swr d2 series or could I use a different recone company to place in its basket I'm down for either option if I can put a different company recone what is a good recone kit to put in a d1 or another d2 thanks in advance for all others. And is it possible to run the subs at 500rms per coil which is a total of 1kilowatt to the sub total

Quick question what size are the rdriver and passenger side speacker size and the ones behind the back seat head rest I would look for my self but thought I would ask before I start to tear it apart

@mike1982 what tune are you going for. here is a website i found to help with finding the port specs http://reaudio.com/box.php you can take the specs you want or filled out print it and it to your local home depot lowes or any wood shop and ask if they can cut those specs for you at the bottom

As the title states I'm going to replace my whole setup I need help with choosing what to do the new setup will consist of 2 Ssa icon 12's a dc audio 2k and I do not know what size I should have the enclosure at for the subs and only thing that will make it a bit hard for me would be the tuning. I was think tuning to 30hz but that might be stupid to tune it that low for those subs. Thank you for all that help and I don't mind reading links to help me out

im changing the setup it will consist of 1 ssa zcon 15 4.5cu ft after driver displacement going for 31 or 30 hz bc2000D might get a second one down the road crescendo ft1 super tweeters and crescendo 6 or 6.5 and 8" for mids the vehicle this will go in is either going into the car i have now or the blazer i might be buying from my friends uncle's shop just would need someone to help me make a port for the box im building and which way would be goo to fire
