Thanks for being the great person and businessman you are Jacob. I especially appreciate being a street competitor as well, hopefully I can earn one of these.

Took a few vids of my teammates josh's van. Scared a few people got some mean looks and did a few hair tricks. This thing is insane. Does a 154.5db at the headrest @ 31hz. It’s the most violent vehicle I have ever sat in. Specs are listed below. 8 15'' MA Audio XL's 2 MA Audio HK4000 amps 2 group 31 Deca Intimidators 4 Batcap 2000's Check our team out @ www.carlisleacoustics.com http://www.myspace.com/carlisleacoustics Link to the video

and half of the kids they spread that to buy it, believe it, and guess what? they go home HAPPY. satisfied with their setup! so what? what is it to you? not everyone needs or even WANTS a competition grade setup! most want a little boom, or to be heard coming down the block (and i don't advocate that either). but guess what? they GET THAT. I'm going off on a tangent here, that's not needed, but my original point stands. these guys are just doing a job. that's all. let them do it. you think you know more than them? great. educate your inquisitive friends. they want to know, give them your knowledge. sign em up here, or even ask questions for them if you don't know the answer! but the salesman are just doing a job, (probably not even a career, a job..)for usually very little money, and don't want to put up with smartass kids.. they do it only because they have to. or better yet.. do as ghandi said- " be the change you wish to see in the world ". meaning- go work at a shop. inform customers to your "truth" tell/show them the good and the bad.. do it. i challenge you. (also-- see how long you last trying to sell a brand the shop DOESNT CARRY to customers. not long i bet.. x2 visitor. I used to be one of those little punks who knew everything or at least thought I did. Now instead of being an ass I try to help people out. There are allot of kids around our town that don't know as much as me and my team but instead of making fun of them and what they think we help them out and tell them what we know. Im actually helping one kid build a box the correct way so maybe he can show someone one day. I think at the end of the day it is way more rewarding to help someone than to make fun of them.

Ok i will look for that track and cd man. Would you happen to have it? If so pm me.
-
Ok i am looking for a song that is constant 35hz or really close for at least 30 seconds. I compete in MECA driveby kinda like bassrace except for its metered outside the vehicle. I cannot use test tones or chopped and screwed music that someone has made. It must be a commercially available cd that anyone could go out and purchase. Thanks

Videos: 2 Custom Nightshade 18"s on 2 saz-3000Ds
cman0655555 replied to spl_explorer's topic in Sundown Audio
nice man what song are you playing in the last 2 videos? -
I don't think you can buy the remix on a CD though. It can't be a burnt CD. I've been trying to think of something, but can't seem to have any luck. Yea i cant use a burned cd it has to be a commercially available cd. The orginal hood nigga wont work although it does have a 35hz note in it, to bad it isnt long enough.

They put the meter on a stand that is 6' from the vehicle and 4.5' off the ground and it takes a 30 second average. Thanks for the suggestion but i know airforces peaks at 41hz. It would be a great song if I peaked in that range. Would you be able to use something like Bass Mekaniks? Yes we can use it as long as I can get the cd. I have one bass mechanics cd.

maybe some nightshades or death penalty

nice vids what do you have in it?

That's cool man glad you are able to help your kid out in getting good equipment the first time. If only everyone had a good influence to help purchase good equipment . I know i started with some POS brands lol
-
If you don't get points though you could still come to worlds and demo and do promotional stuff.
-
Yea i think you would have been in mod 5 without fuses but i think the headliner being out put you in modex instead. Good number and I am sure with some tweaking and getting use to metering at the headrest you could get it allot louder. I think you should definitely start competing in meca and if you wanted to travel you could still qualify for worlds this year.

Event Results from Best Buy / Geek Squad Series Soundfest - Madison TN

congrats another great sundown showing at a meca event. -
Option 2 or 3 with a low tuned ported enclosure. I think your really just wanting it to sound good and be able to get louder when you want. I don't think your really wanting sq that much. Correct me if i am wrong but i think you want to be able to listen to music and still be able to hear your mids and highs as well as louder than normal bass.

get those bumpers and everything else painted and it will look great. Nice build man

Elizabethtown, KY Best Buy MECA Results 07-20-2008

Great show although it was so hot. If it was cooler out fuses would have held and Jeremy would have a 130. My fuses never pop and they did within a few seconds, didn't even get to turn mine up. All in all Carlisle Acoustics and Sundown took home the most awards. Here are some results of the other members of our team. Joshua Newton Mod 5 151.1 2nd loudest SPL score of the day. Travis Massey AS3 139.99 his first ever show. -
