Sorry for late responce. I have very minimal experience. I made a 8" mono sub box. Never tested it though, just was a project for wood class which I got a 98 on. But no true box building experience. I'm looking for who ever does the cheapest yet does a very good job, though ironically its hard to find both qualities. I would like it to firmly fit in the back of a chevy 2001 tahoe, behind the seats. Its about 41-41.5" of space from side to side in back, up to 22" from floor to near rimming of the seat. I would like it also fabricated so it matches the interior.

ahh ok, well I'll get it, as I'll hopefully talk to the owner of this store tomorrow, and see what its like. Then soon after get it in a few months and tell what i think about it.

Guess it was a stupid questions?...
-
really? hm, well considerably thisll be my first time having an audio system.. A owner of the store was talking to me on another forum, and he said for me to come down to here some of it. He said he could recommend me a full Powerbass System for 500$ but since I raised it to 750$ I guess I could get a bit more hopefully. :\

Anything wrong with Powerbass USA?
-
Not a great idea, especially for saving money. Do you already have an aftermarket head unit? really, buying from one site is bad?.. thought it be better for compatible or something.. hm, yeah the default 2din head unit, which I'm going to buy probably 1din with a spacer.

I'm changing my budget actually. I'm going to do a down payment for the truck I want so I don't need to worry about saving really, just paying for gas, insurance and monthly fees now. So I'm upping my budget to 750 USD now instead of it beign 500 USD... I was thinking to save me on shipping I'll buy everything from one website as well. I'm back to stage 1 to be exact. I need: Front Speakers (to be crisp and clear, but be enough power for front and back speakers so I can disable back and get a better amp so its less to spend i think) Front Speaker AMP Sub Woofer x2 15" or a x1 18" Sub Woofer AMP Sub Woofer Box Dimensions to work with for the back of the truck: [W: 49.25" |H: 22.5" |L: 36" ]

Anyone know of of a snug fitting dual sub box that'll fit in back of the second seats? Im taking out far back seats want to leave middle seats. Only wanting to do dual 15" subs. Should they be enclosed also?

I'm buying 2 JBL GTO1502D (15") and I went on their website to see a box layout. But I don't really want to do that. Anyone have any ideas or sites maybe I could see a dual box layout. Someone told me I should do enclosed no vents, but I think I might need vents. A bit of help please? Either a site that shows me a build blueprint for dual 15" or a site I could buy dual enclosed box, cheap? regards, timinsk

I did some research and I thought up of a plan. What you think? FS: PHOENIX GOLD 6.5" 240w (79.99) FS AMP: Power Acoustik PS2-420 (54.99) SUB: JBL GTO1502D (79.99 x2) SUB AMP: Legacy: LA1488 - 2 Channel 1600W (109.99) Total: 434.95 (* excluding shipping) Not to bad right?
-
buy 1 or 2 18" and how much would the sub case be and where do I buy one?
-
if you could, because I don't know much.. maybe give me the items I need to buy. Tell me what I should get.. :\ I need Front Speakers (that can be loud enough to take over front and my back speakers, im wanting to disable my back speakers so then i can save money with out buying new front and back speakers) Amp for front speakers Amp for sub Sub(s) But like i said before, i need speakers and subs that are good quality for the music I listen to... I like techno so I love the big boom, but sometimes theres songs with A LOT of repetitive roll over of same rhythm thats really fast so I want all the beats to be caught. Then there rock where I like the heavy feel of the bass to get the drums and bass guitar, etc. Then country where I like the voice of the person singing and love to get the feel of clean, crisp sound of them. Then trance where they remade music has some synth in there so I want to hear the bass have wind bellowing sound. I guess.. but I think someone told me I should go for a enclosure setup for some reason.
