I got 2 18" Level 4 XL's. I was in reno staying at the silver legacy having fun lol and I placed an order with rusty not only did he making them quickly for me he also went out of his way and delivered them to my hotel which was hella cool since I dont know reno to well. He also played his system for me which was crazy loud and sounded incredibly clean. DC subs FTW.. These are some sick ass subs I cant wait to install them.

I am about to install 2 18's in the back of a Gmc Sierra Ext. Cab. I will be taking the back seat out. My question is should I have the subs and port facing up or Subs facing forward and port up. I was told to have the subs facing forward and port up but I would like more opinions on this. Thanks,

I was wondering what the difference between the older 3000D and the New 3000D? Besides the casing.. Can the older 3000D be okay at .5 Ohm?

Does the side get really hot or just warm? I measured it with a temp gun and the side that gets warm is only gettin 5 to 7 degrees warmer than the other side. with the other side staying the same temp as before i started playin music How long were you playing before you took the temp gun to the amp? Also How long have you been running the amp at 1/2 Ohm?

That depends on your electrical system, if it can keep up with the current draw you can run it at 0.5 ohms. I was going with 2 PM 3100's and a 300 Amp Alt.

Ok now I need your guys unbiased opinion on which subs should I get. I will be getting a Sundown 3000D:). I have about 10-11 C.F to work with. Which combo will or has the potential to get louder? The BL's are less expensive but with the NS's I can always upgrade to another 3000D if I feel its not loud enough lol. Will the NS's be louder enough to compensate for the price difference? What do you guys think? This is what it will be going in below I will be taking the back seat out;) Thanks,

Thanks, i never metered the bl's i bought my TL after i got my nightshades.. but there was a big gain.... but now im confused.. i thought you wanted these for daily. It will be for daily I will be tuning it around 31-32 Hz. Just wanna make the right choice on the subs the first time. I dont mind paying more if the NS's are noticably louder. Tell you the truth I really dont listen to music too much just wanna have something there when I want it:)
