    IA warden vs DDz

Who cares? Both companies make awesome subs, you can't go wrong with the IA or the DD.

    New Sundown 4 channel?

If he built one and kept it under 40" long, I'd pay for it in a heart beat. Dual zero gauge inputs and grounds. That thing would be the sex.

    New Sundown 4 channel?

I'm still sticking with my idea of a 3000D and a 1000.4 in the same heatsink. Jake won't build one though .

    Prototype "SA" Series

Looks like a beefy 600 watt sub.

Playing with Big Boy Monster 15"

That thing is a monster. I should get 4 of them for my short bus. Yes I have an RTA short bus and this is my proof. http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/cto/797351317.html I might keep it and make it a party bus. Maybe paint "Sundown Audio" on the side of it. Haha.

    Sundown Shallow Mid Prototype

This would really help people with limited space (such as my friend's doors of his stratus, which he put in chitty crunch coaxials). These will sell like crazy when you release them especially with a tweeter. My kicks are way too small for my ID mids.

    Will my electrical be okay???

I have a 140 amp alt in my 1985 Cutlass and a single yellow top and I run a 3000D and a PPI ProMos-450 with hardly any dimming or voltage drop. (.3 volts) You should be fine.

    Box Build: 3.0 @ 30 hz

I received my box yesterday and I'm extremely impressed with it. Build quality is top notch and it performs much better than my old one. I just changed to my other prototype so I'm going to have to do a bit of tuning and let the sub break in for a week or so before I can give an accurate review. The smaller box actually gives me more output with less space. If I ever need a box for a custom application, BJ is the first person I'm getting a hold of. Thanks so much for my box BJ.

    Putting something in the VW

I need to get both of my Nightshades metered. All this time and money and yet I still don't have a number lol.

    Box Build: 3.0 @ 30 hz

I've been waiting for this box not only to see how nice it is (When I went to PA in the spring I got a chance to see the AQ box you did for Greg....the one with the AQ behind the plexi) but I also needed a good box to do the review of the prototype Nightshades. I can't wait to hear one of those subs in a box that isn't leaking and falling apart.

    Box Build: 3.0 @ 30 hz

That looks great. Way better than I could ever build it. I just hope it doesn't blow apart like my last one did lol.

    Future Amplifiers

How about a 100.4 and a 3000D in the same heatsink? I'd run it in my car for sure.

    SAE-1000D Questions

I love the idea of small amps. They're compact and they can put out a lot of power. However, I think the new amp would be a lot better of an idea because of it's ability to spread the load out more and the fact that it is bigger. It's all about appealing to the customer. Honestly, when I knew nothing of car audio, I used to think that those big ugly audiobahn amps with the flames on them put out a ton of power. But they didn't. The current 1000D would put half of them to shame. But people like big amps. They like to pop their trunks in front of their friends and go "look at that beast". I had more people go "holy chit" when they saw my VLX in the trunk than my 1500D. Not to mention since the amp has more of a heatsink and more parts, it will perform better. Changed the amp models. Make the 800D a 1000D and make the current 1000D a 1000S (S = small footprint) and charge more for the 1000S because of it being small. I highly doubt the difference in power would be noticable. That's just my 2 cents though. Jake, you have been building awesome amps and your doing good at it so don't think I'm trying to tell you what to do lol.

    Bigger Sub ?

I think that would be a sweet sub. I'd love to be able to have my subs built the way I wanted to. I like the customization idea.

    SAE-1000D Questions

I personally don't mind big amps. Some times space is an issue but performance is number one. My ProMos is 24" long. It's not going to fit quit as nice as I'd prefer, however, that amp alone just makes me want to run it. I was going to use my VLX as my sub amp. That thing barely fits in my trunk and I'd have to make a custom rack for it. But it is a good enough amp that I'd make sure it'd fit. I think the 800D's being that big would help get the point across that this amp means business. Bigger is always better.

    new md2 differences

Interesting. I can see why they overated the XT line now. It will obviously appeal to those peopel that only know how to read numbers on an amp rather than the people who expect to get what it says on the side of the amp. Not a bad idea for marketing those amps. I wanted to buy one because they look nice but that was before I knew they were so over rated. I'll just stick with my old schools

    Special request.

Thats ok. I know what it well end up being an md23 after the parts are added. It will be a cool addition to my collection.

    Special request.

I have a md22 and I'm guessing its an 06? I'm not sure but its the style with one side that is square and it houses all the controls and the other side is round. Anyway I need a guts picture of the amp that is a step above it. Mine is being modded and I need to see what amp is the next steup up from the 22. Thanks.

From: Used, B-Stock, Refurbished Amps, and MISC

You already make sweet drivers, so I doubt anyone would care. I wanted to get it but the other prototype nightshade motor caught my attention lol.
