o chit. lol. well then how much are they making on 12v at .5 ohm? This is an older one, not the newer one.
-
well its not that i want to save more room because the biggest i can have the box is about 3.5 so that i can have the other options in my trunk. I just don't know if i should go with smaller size drivers to allow better box size for the size of the driver I choose. and aren't the IA 20.1 rated for about 1800 watts at 1 ohm? thats 1000 watts each SSD. I have had about 1200 watts on one before. It took it fine. its probably 2200 watts at .5 ohm, so each SSD is getting 1100 watts. But I set my gains low anyways.

you never know so thats why you need to do it soon. lol. -

I read somewhere that nick said they are ssd with copper coils. lol
-
i had a 1606d on a fully loaded ssd. your probably seeing 1200w. under powering the sub wont hurt it but don't try to crank the gains up to compensate because chit will fly. lol.

what are you playing? maybe your playing below tuning.
-
call the shipping company too. i had a mach5 mj-18m go to the wrong house and i found that out through the shipping company.
-
i think nick said that the ssd's are like the sx with copper coils. the magnet is stronger on the ssds though.
-
great installs man. post up all your installs .

pictures?

I had a fully loaded 12" FI SSD with a md2d amp. It sounded great when I want it to and it had beat really hard when I want it to as well. Good choice on the set though. GET SOME PICTURES UP.

this happened to me a while back when condensation got on the connections on the amp but it fixed itself so I don't know if this would be the same problem as yours. What is your electrical looking like? I think someone mentioned about voltage drops.

there was no woodworking class in my high school. my high school is the #1 high school in the state with 2000-3000 students. It would have been nice to have one.

get some pics up when you get that system going. I hate this weather because I want to do my build too. Hey, you all should join a local forum called 502streetscene.net. the car audio forum there is not great but we can fill it up.

DC Audio lvl4xl and sundown saz3000

I'd probably reinforce that amp so the vibration doesn't mess up the internals. But awesome box and great sub and amp selection. -
welcome. Do you have another battery for the trunk, upgraded big 3, stuff like that?
-
After you get your box built, you'll just have to show them what an "internet brand" can do. And why you'll keep buying them! X2. Also I think we need to do a IN-KY car audio meet in the summer or something.

to save you some money on the batteries, look at deka 9a31s, http://www.remybattery.com/Products/Deka-I...9A31__9A31.aspx you could get two of those dekas for the price of 1 of those kinetik hc2400s. I'm just giving you options. I am going with two of these when i get some money.
-
Ill stay tuned in for this to see if you can really make your goal. Make sure to make a build log. But really, listen to everyone's advice. Look up how much money you're going to be putting into this system. Think of the money wasted when you find out that you don't want a set-up hitting upper 150s.

i'd tell him its a waste of time for a xplode.

two 2000ds.

so theres a plexi glass panel on the top of that amp/battery rack? If yes, then make sure to have air vents for the amp cooling. You may have said something about this but I don't remember. nice amp/battery rack though.
