I have a dilemma of which set-up to go with. I already have all the stuff, except batteries and maybe a high output alternator if I was to need one. I need the extra space in my trunk, 96 honda accord coupe, for battery/batteries/mid-range amp, and space for me to get to my spare tire. So I can only use about half the space for the box. I bought the two 12" SSD subs because it was a good deal but then right after I bought them, I also found a good deal on two 10" SSD subs. But here it is: Two 12" SSD subs, bp option, copper coils, D2, with an IA20.1 amp at .5 ohm in a minimal recommended box of about 3.5cu ft. tuned to 34hz. I would probably get a deka 9a31 and maybe a high output alternator when I can get the money. Or Two 10" SSD subs, bp option, copper coils, D1, with an IA20.1 amp at 1 ohm in a maximum recommended box of about 3.0-3.5cu ft. tuned to 34hz. I would probably just get a deka 9a31 and thats it.

yup, will do.

you should have filed a complaint against that guy. he probably was doing this with others too.
-
specs of the box and are you going to put a finish on it? and how much power are you going to feed it in the home theater?
-
The ssd with flatwind coils is like the sx except the motor. as for bottom end efficiency, someone else with experience with the Q will chime in.

have you checked if the batteries are still good? -
yea, i agree, you should see any lost of amps if the battery bank is close.
-
you got the electrical to run that much power?
-
8s, do it, and post it.

x2.

yea, just make sure thats what its really tuned to and not just what thought to be tuned to 40hz. also, don't beat it when its down. damn, never turn your volume all the way up. human error makes bad chit happen.
-
dont get the us amps xt4000 amp. its only going to give you 1500 watts at best if you are thinking you're going to get 4000watts. and don't let a shop you don't know well hook your stuff up to compare something you are going to buy from them vs what you got.

i think you need more than just the volume of the box to tune it to 36hz. and from what you said, i think you want it tuned higher. you're not looking for SQ.

yea, my girlfriend has a 2000 mustang and it was pretty hard to get the box through the trunk opening but space was good when it was inside the trunk. i wished she would let me put two more sundown sd-v1s in there.

Crunch GP3000d Pro vs US amps Xt4000
slim2fattycake replied to Wolfsblane's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
us amps' xt line is budget stuff. they are not garbage but could use better numbers in their names. their merlin and AX line does as much or over rated power, or as i have read in the forums. and i also used to own two md2d. . such tension in this thread. -
lol. that was pretty...... gay

get whichever that you can get cheaper.
