lol. that should be left to shakers.
-
yup. check out the build log on here.
-
I cannot wait to use the products I ordered.
-
that paint does look really good. what is it? and the bracing makes me sad that my set-up is so ugly.
-
Nice, thanks. I'll have to check this out. O and I bought the e8s from you on Ca right? This is slim2fattycake.

I think we need to tone down on the bashing. I was just trying to help. What amp did you get, OP?
-
doing the big 3 is about 50 dollars or even less. 2400 watts is going to need a good Ah rated battery. Also if you're going to put it in the trunk then it should be safe so get AGM batteries. Wires are wires used or not. I did my big 3 for about 35 dollars worth of wires. edit- I hope you were kidding about 400 dollars for the big 3. and 60 dollars for a battery to power 2400 watts is going to be the best deal in the world. maybe you should tell us all what battery that is. i spent 150 on my battery used.
-
what amp did you get? If it is really putting out 2400 watts then you need to do the BIG 3 with 1/0 wires and a 2nd battery. But I would the BIG 3 first. There is no way that a 2nd battery is cheaper (quality type of battery) than some 1/0 wires.

900 for sub and amp is a great budget. I did it for less

1 ohm, 2ohm, 4ohm, WTF!

It seems like people cannot google. Wikipedia has the basic info you will need. I would think people would know this through basic high school physics. -
Get some grilles with the metal bars going across the sub. That should help with those cowboy boots and little happy feets .
-
Thanks. I have everything ran except the front stage amp power and ground wire and the sub speaker wires. I have to figure out a way to create a second level false floor on top of the amps but with something that will still allow ventilation. Any ideas? The sub box is going to be flush up against the back seats and the amps are going to be side by side near the trunk entrance.
-
hold on. I am getting my speaker wires tuesday so I should be able to have everything ready. I'll take some pictures then. Everything in my signature is what I am running.

Doesn't Db-r have a warranty on the repair?
-
has anyone sat on it while you were playing something with "good" bass?
-
Very nice. Pic? How was the deal with DB electrical? And why did you choose them?
-
I like it. I am bias though because I'm going to run two 10" SSDs too. One thing though, is that I'd get a battery instead of that cap if you need more power. If you don't get dimming then just get rid of it because its more strain on the alternator. Just a suggestion.

What is the set-up going to be like?
-
I may try his stuff and see how it performs.

Don't waste your money on the B-Quiet. Here is where I would shop: http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/cgi-bin/index.cgi Thanks for the new showdown link. I remember the first showdown. It was very informative. Bookmarked.

How are you liking the SSD?
-
wow. If that was 190 shipped, then go and get him to build you a ported box. Thats really good especially for the craftsmanship that he puts in it. I know my boxes are not that nice looking.
-
turn the subsonic filter on. Check out pound that sound and fisher boxes or whatever on here. They make really nice stuff.
-
what was wrong with the BLs?
-
I think that 2000 watts is too much for the SSD though unless you're going to be running it higher ohms. Also, I'd tune a little higher for rap. 33hz-35hz maybe.
