wow, nice. I was going to use the door hinges on my box port as well. Good work. How did you get the tuning for the box when the plug is out? I see that the port starts out big and then gets smaller after the corner. I didn't do my box with a corner because I didn't know how to do that. Luckily, my port doesn't need to wrap around a corner. I'd like to know just in case next time I have to do another one and have to wrap around a corner.

Welding cable
slim2fattycake replied to ncacoates's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
I bought some used 1/0 welding cable from BenHemp and they are flexible and have plenty of strands too. Well worth the money. -
what size of the BL do you have? I think a charger has more then enough for a 3ft^3 box even if the BL was a 15". If not then the 12" BL can be in a box of 1.8 ft^3 ported tuned to 33hz.

What about board skin? The white is hurting my eyes. I can only stand my ears hurting. ps- I love the new PM system. -
500 watts each ssd in a sealed box of that size is fine. You don't need BP option. The SSD is rated for 800 watts a piece.
-
they have 0 currently.
-
why? do you not know where ficaraudio.com is?
-
what is your budget and what type of sound are you going for? There has been people that have put 300 watts per ssd or even 1500 watts per ssd.

Get out of his for sale thread. I know someone put that put +4k on an SPL, the 1st SPL too. The suspension is still stiff. Granted it wasn't for a long time and the website says it can burb up to 8k.

I bet we will be seeing a skyrocket more of MJ-18M set-ups soon.

5 ft^3 for a 18" btl is on the low end of what is recommended and he also has his subsonic filter on 27hz. I don't think that was the problem. Edit: Was this sub reconed recently?
-
what size box and where did you set the subsonic filter at?
-
Well since you have those powerful vibrators in your seats already, it seems vibrators do belong in the HT. =)
-
Bah! That's the weak mans way of doing it! Not for the ladies or if you want to really feel it.
-
what 15" sub do you have to get a 154 in a trunk?

Power Wire Size
slim2fattycake replied to Estsound's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
5.18922 mm in diameter if you are in need of 4 gauge wires. I only converted the inches to cm and didn't look up the amp. -
Nice work. What vehicle is this?
