I may be able to help you tomorrow after work at 5. I was out at my friend's all day. I didn't have signal out there.

nice. great numbers on such a low tune.

o and these two people have systems of their own. The guy is the owner of the 4 sundown E8s in a ported box tuned to 32hz with around 1200 watt and the girl is the owner of two 12" sundown SDv-1s in a sealed box with around 800 watts.

lol. I was laughing my ass of when the two videos were being taken.

Just got everything in for a mock set-up and it was nice. I had the port plug out and gain up about 1/4 of the way up subsonic at 30hz. It was clean and loud as hell. I am going to get a new head unit though so this might drag out longer lol.

Need help with power application

If your lights are dimming then get a better battery or get an extra battery. Have you done the big 3 wire upgrade? -
I think it was 110 including shipping back to me for a 12" BTL recone some time beginning of this year. I am in kentucky so it may a little different depending on your location.

Nice. How do you have those fans wired? No problems being wired to the remote line?
-
what were the mods done to the MJ-18M. Thats crazy how it handled so much power.

welcome and there is nothing wrong with your system. whats the Q's box spec? edit: you might want to leave "B7L BL4Z3R is my lover" out of the interest section.

A Kenwood KDC-MP538U deck is going to be installed. Knu 4 gauge wires and the BIG 3 will be done in 4 gauge as well. Stock speakers are going to be kept. Sub box is 2.5 cubes net tuned to 32hz. User will be playing all types of music and this is for a daily set-up.

yup. It does really well for some 8" subs and they sound great too. Someone said that they would excel in a dual chamber ported box but I don't think I can make one to fit his trunk and still give him room to put other things in it. -
if you have to ask the question then you should only stick to Fi's recommendation.

how much do u get out of sound deadening your box
slim2fattycake replied to Lucky 76's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
More than likely you will just need bracing. -

Mats aren't just for metal parts. It is for anything that resonates. Many people use it on their plastic panels. If your box panels are resonating then deadening it will help but bracing will be better for you. If you think that deadeners are useless in speaker boxes then you need to check out hometheatershack.com. Almost everyone has some sort of deadener lined in their boxes even with awesome bracing. I am about to add some egg crate foam to the walls in my home theater box for a less hollow sound because of its size. This is more for the sound than bracing but it is a use of deadener in the box. However, I don't know about raamats though. I have never tried it or heard from someone that has. -
check out mach5 audio's midbass driver.
