Infinitely Baffled or Just Plain Confused

Good job. But is it just me or is the rear deck flexing too much? I may be seeing something else. -
1.5 max for ported and a single 4" aero is fine. Stay within Fi's specs. It will do you good.

"rubberized adhesive" is what people selling asphalt call asphalt when they don't want to say "asphalt" Misleading as hell but it's asphalt. At least they stopped saying it was butyl. PM this guy and tell him the space you have and what you want to stop and he will tell you exactly what you need, no more or less. PS- if you couldn't tell from Rudy's sig, he's Don, the ower of SDS.
-
Its not free. You have to go through the page that asks for your address.
-
Check the link in my sig for sound deadening. Talk to Don. Technique and quality over quantity and junk.

Well lets see. F USPS! UPS has only damaged one package and the manager at the store followed through on the claim for me and I got my check within 2.5 weeks. Fedex hasn't broken anything yet. DHL delivered my mach5 mj-18m to 5020 instead of my address of 5202. I thought someone stole my sub lol. USPS is shit. I bought a vintage home audio amp off ebay and it arrived on my doorstep with hole in the box and the top looks to have been stomped on. I opened the box and the amp had broken posts, dents all on it. It turned on but didn't do anything else. I made a claim and took my stuff, paperwork, packaging, and amp, to the USPS office. They took it and sent it off to "Accounting" I waited 2 months with no notices. I went out to the post office to see the status and they don't have any info on my claim. They lost my stuff. I was pissed. The girl that processed my claim said to call accounting as she cannot do anything. I called accounting but they said they don't have any paperwork or my stuff so they told me to call the main USPS number. I called and they told me to call the local post office. They had me going in circles. I was damn pissed. I emailed the accounting department claims director and bitched them out. She sent me an email back saying she did have my package but no paperwork. I would have to reapply for the claim. Okay so I did it online the 2nd time. It then told me that I am out of the claims time period so I cannot make a claim. lol. So I emailed the director back and told her and said she had to take the claim. 2 weeks or something later, my claim is processed. I didn't receive a check until 4 months after. It was only 2/3 of the cost of what I paid.

xcon or 15 l7 for DEEP bass
slim2fattycake replied to elastic's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
Man, I was going to say the same. If you have to ask then you probably won't be able to do it. With one 18 and 2k, good luck on getting even close without any SPL background. -
I was wondering about that. They don't state tuning nor the 2nd part of the box.
-
Cut some wire off or use smaller gauge. When I had 8 gauge in my SSDs, I had to cut quite a bit off to fit knu 8 gauge.
-
x2 on all three lol.

Nice job. Kerf looks great.

I'd be really careful on those stetsoms when you get in the upper power. They don't seem right to me and quite a few others including Sean, chop. So what amp is it that yeabuddy is getting?

Is something wrong with Fi's checkout?
slim2fattycake replied to slim2fattycake's topic in General Fi
any update? -
Just finished tuning the stuff. Sounds great. I had him turn the bass all the way up on his head unit so if he wanted it to be smoother and blend better with his door speakers then he can turn that down at the head unit. He loved it. First time working with a LOC adapter and it took some time lol. But he still has his steering wheel controls. It will be next time for me to get pictures of the install. I forgot to get any this time. O and I convinced him to get an aftermarket head unit later down the road maybe some time in the summer so he can use a USB for all his music.

1.5 cubic foot tuned to 35hz. The SSD is the older 08 style with copper coils and BP option. The sub is going to be powered by an ap1500d at 2 ohms in a trailblazer.
