I kinda see him wanting loud over sound quality from the start. The BL will still sound good. -

If you're strapped for space, why get a 15" ? Should have gone 10" or 12". Also, 2.8 cuft is after port, sub, and bracing displacement. -
There is still room for two more bottles. But more pictures I found a smoother 4" elbow so I used that instead and it came out to the exact length I need. I used tape, just in case he wanted to change tuning.

The last owner of the mustang had a nitrous kit and so the back seat is gone and there is a mount for the nitrous bottle and that's it. This is the reason for the wall. It makes it look a lot better.

All termlabs are going to meter a little different as well. One may be more loose than another. So just saying...

If anyone needs the bandwidth of their meters to go higher or lower, let me know. I'll see how much it is to calibrate it for a larger bandwidth. This can be done with both the SPL and the RTA meters. -
still on the hunt for the perfect amp
slim2fattycake replied to wafsman's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
lol. But Alpine has the PDX line that will do the same power from 1 ohm to 4 ohms or it could be 2 ohms to 4 ohms depending on the model. They are very small. I was really surprised, but it was a 600 watt rms amp. -

I mean, if you really need that .1dB, then just calibrate it. Great score and great job on the comparison.

Someone needs to listen to the Makara album by E.S.Posthumus. First in the home set-up and then cruising. There is a lot of low bass. Makes me want to be in a shoot out in slowmo. -
Do you hate it still?
-
on burp at a single frequency.
-
Ask Shizzzon about setting up the amp and using that knob.
-
Bass knobs and gain knobs are totally different. But I'll ask about the "knob" on the AQ amps and see what they are about. I have never owned one so I don't know. Just never heard anyone complain about it.
-
Are you sure its not a gain knob? Never heard anyone complain about it. I'll ask my buddy as he has 7 of the 3500s.
-
WTF? Explain please.
-
sealed box, turn volume down, or just listen to what you're playing and don't play low shit.

SPL BOX ADVICE CHEVY CAVALIER
slim2fattycake replied to antonmiller's topic in SPL & SQ / Fabrication
What sub is this and size? What's your vehicle peak? Also, if you add those 2x4s and you do gain a little bit, try to apply duct tape over them evenly so they would be smoother. That may or may not help but I doubt that it will drop your score. Hell, try to apply duct tape over everything inside the box. Let me know how it goes. -
Theres going to be a MECA show in evansville IN soon. you should go.
