EDIT - 2.2 cubes net tuned to 34hz with one 4" PVC pipes with rounded 90 degree angle turn. This will be right up behind the back seats of a 2000 mustang and will have a carpeted wall flush with the box. The baffle angle is 25 degrees. Powered by a AP15001D. More to come soon.

Don't forget about SDS. -
Don't waste your money on the cap. you won't notice any difference. Also, make sure you order the right coil configuration for your sub to wire to your amp at the power you are planning.

He needs to redo that floor he got for the nos bottle.

run your car on water????
slim2fattycake replied to jonbearsmt's topic in Automotive and Performance
Really, it could be possible but probably not easy. Someone would have made a company to run their cars like this already. If it works, whoever is selling these HOW-TOs have to be saving lots of money or have to be making a lot of money so they should be able to afford something better than a site like that. I remember reading about how HONDA was testing on a remote island a vehicle using compressed air and exhausting water vapors. Don't know where that went though. -

clamps are a must. Someone said a while back that you can never have enough clamps. You technically don't need a router as if you are patient then you can make near perfect circles with a jigsaw. Get a good fence on your tablesaw. it's what makes perfect cuts.

I wanna go but no funds for fun as of right now. -
Man, he took off after setting up his amp. I couldn't get a picture at all. I'll have to do it tomorrow.

Dude, I saw tell Jacob. Dude sounds like he will make people go the opposite way that sundown customer service should be.

everything is installed. just needs a fuse holder in the trunk near the amp. Also, for some reason either his wiring or whatever, the amp didn't turn on. His deck had three blue wires so I have no idea. I gotta get a DMM tomorrow and check the wires. A bad note - I was about 10 degrees off so we had to push the box up a little into the cabin and then carpet the whole rear seat for it to look more smooth. Damn angle finders. I was going to do two tone, gray and black but we went with just black. He really liked how it turned out anyways. I'll get more pictures tomorrow and I'll get a video maybe. This will be a first of me hearing assassins as well as the owner.

PM me if you want to know where to get dekas for 100 + shipping with (1 year warranty too I think). Also, I can give you DC Power's owner's cell and he will have something for you. I blast my 3k at idle (700-800 rpms) a lot with a deka 9a31 in the trunk and a 9a34 under the hood. -
weaksauce. Shoulda done the 20 10s idea. lol.

NEED GOOD AMP
slim2fattycake replied to DCarter's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Why not get dual 2 ohm SSD instead? it would be cheaper to get an amp in your price range. And you sure you can fit a good size box for that 15" in a mustang trunk? Its a bitch to get any box in that trunk besides building it inside the trunk. And why are you gettin that brutus 1200d amp? That's not 1000 watts at 2 ohms. lol. If you're looking for a cheap amp for near 1000 watts at 2 ohms then get an Audiopipe ap15001D. You can get these for under 200 shipped. -

new from crescendo comes with 2 year warranty as well so I doubt you would get 2 years transferable warranty with a used saz 3k amp. Or a used crescendo 3k 475 plus shipping and probably has warranty left. But it still isn't that great of a deal because its 550 brand new. -

Why get used when you get the same thing with a crescendo brand new? Read impious' comment.
