Dude, my girl's 2001 v6 mustang has a DC 260sp in it and its just beast. 14.8v lowest (15.0v above idle) with a cheap walmart battery under the hood and 1500 watts. Everything on with system on blast at idle and it doesn't drop any lower.

Why DC Power Engineering vs the competition
slim2fattycake replied to DC Power Kyle's topic in DC Power Engineering
I'ma say it because I don't care. It was a mechman alt and I think the owner actually had it fixed by mechman and it still died. The owner let it out of the bag on CACO. Then mechman was talking shit about how its not even a fair comparison on the DC write up and how DC costs too much. blah blah blah. -
OP get the fuck out of here. And don't think this isn't going to get to SMD either.

Unless you live down the street from Iraggi, I doubt you're going to be able to get a hold of him. Good luck though. -
Is this good?

Xcon 15" - Smallest sealed box ever used?
slim2fattycake replied to Viperoni's topic in Sound Solutions Audio (SSA®)
Stuff it with 1.5 lbs per 1 cuft volume. Make sure to spread it out so its flowy not tight together or it just will take up volume. It should be able to get you right over 2 cuft. -
Finally got some birch from lowes, 2 sheets. I'll be doing some work this weekend maybe cutting. Also, I got a couple of new equipment for the home theater. Mitsubishi HC3800 1080P projector, about 100ft of 22gauge monoprice HDMI cable with a repeater, and some stretch spandex to make a screen.
-
yeah, I'm not so much on negative camber either but the stretch tires are cool to an extent. You should see Vdubs lol. Rusty panels and stretch tires are a standard. hehe.

I'm digging the blue NSX the most. Always thought they had a great looking body.

What belt are you running with your HO alt?
slim2fattycake replied to mrbojang's topic in Amplifiers / Head Units / Processors / Electrical
Never heard of that? Sometimes you get slips that you won't hear. So that's a way to check to tell. -

If you got all those things in line, you should probably save the money for that. Why not build a new enclosure instead for more output or more SQ or whatever? But if you must get an 18", why not look at Mach5 audio? They reside in Canada so you don't have to pay dues or international shipping. They still have the MJ18-Ms and the IXLs are awesome. -
that port area seems really really small.
-
Its fine if your db drive subs can take it. be smart with the gain and no bass boost. subsonic filter would help a lot too if you are going to use a ported box.

it is the least durable of all engineered wood and it is not that much cheaper than MDF. It breaks apart in clumps really easy and it swells and sags when introduced to moisture. And you have to be extra careful using screws in it as the structure is really weak. You definitely need more bracing than compared to MDF as well.
