I just thought it was funny since I know the reference of the comment. And coke isn't that bad of a drug, car audio is.

We do not do pre-orders, never have..never will. I see no point in taking somebody's money and making them wait for months on end to help pay for product that doesn't exist, that just screams "I do not have enough money to order 100 pieces from China so I will discount it to raise capital to pay for it before it even exists, and if it comes in with everything messed up I am screwed." ..granted we actually build our own stuff here so it is definitely different. Still absolutely refuse to do it though. I blew coke outta my nose just reading this. lol.

Guess what that is?

None of those subs you listed. Get a BTL.

That is still a waste because you are using the wrong materials for it. Steel beams would work a hell of a lot better.

It doesn't work quiet the same way.Amp can be clipped to hell and back and it show up on termlab as a clean wave. Yeah, I wouldn't trust that shit cus it doesn't work like a real Oscope is supposed to. I don't even know the reason for it. It has to be broken because it is the easiest thing to do. It auto ranges and shows the wave. You just turn up or down the volume and gain.

yup but only enough for what you need and not a cent more.

This thing is loud. lol. I gotta brace my house. I just watched the first movie with it. Inception was the movie. There was constant bass almost all the time. And I added the 5lbs of polyfill. I'll leave it since I don't wanna take the sub out again.

5lbs shouldn't be too much for 10.5 cubes, but I'll start with 2.5lbs first and then go to 5lbs.

Maybe something to match the furniture in your room?Gloss black? I may do this. However, I will probably listen to the box and finish the tweaking first before I put the effort into gloss black. I was shooting for 11 cubes tuned to 17hz. Lost .5 cubes and now only have length for 19hz. But maybe the difference won't be enough to the ear. I really don't want to lose port area. What do you think about adding the 5lbs of polyfill? I have it sitting around so I just thought of putting it to use. It should help smooth out the peakiness as one good advantage, but would there be disadvantages?

Thanks, man. Well, I talked to some guys over on the hometheatershack site and supposedly the open cell foams are not recommended anymore. I bought them a long time ago and was going to use it for my home theater box, but now I guess I'm going to keep it in the corner of the garage lol. I have some bad news. I somehow cut my pieces all wrong and now I don't have the volume that I wanted before. I'm down to about 10.5 cubes net and can possibly get about 19hz tuning. I didn't want to redo because this has been a good amount of work that I actually had time for. I am going to listen to this and see how it goes. I'll then add about 5lbs of Polyfill to the box, and then "try" to hear a difference. If there's not a difference then I either take it out or leave it until I need the polyfill for another box. hehe. I have a semi circle brace left (two halves) and then I gotta cut port to length. I probably won't have progress for two weeks after this because it will be the end of the semester and finals will be starting. I haven't made my screen yet and I need to but right now its just a sheet hung up. I'll get pictures of the projector and the screen setup when I get it done. I'm going to try to do it during the winter break. What do you guys think I should have as a finish on the box?

Handles on both sides. Terminal box on the back. I still got some more bracing and open cell foam on the walls.

Finally some work.
