If I'm playing with a .50 though, I'm probably going to be reloading and that involves 750gr A-Max and thats about 3$ or so a bullet. i wanna know where one can get .50bmg for a 1.50, case or not. lowest i've seen in a long while was $6... wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Right now, probably not. I do know a guy though....... he knows a guy. I have grabbed some 2,000 asorted rounds for free from him. Really good guy. Never had a need for .50 though so I never asked, but he mentioned he could get some. Probably still on a belt though....

Ah for a bathroom I guess that makes sense. The bathroom I am doing right now is just a water closet though so no real moisture without a shower or bath. I doubt it....... over kill guy if there is a chance of a problem. My friends call me Captain Overboard sometimes so I understand the overkill Just Sometimes??? That was me being wordy, you can omit the sometimes. In the same vein of me wanting a BMG, great varmint hunting weapon.

has anyone had any luck with ferroconcrete? I'm thinking about adding onto and patching my pond, and it looks much easier and more importantly cheeper than rebar.

Sean, about those fancy toto's. Are they all pretty much the same? They have 3 flushing styles. I think the cyclone one looks pretty... lol I have been looking at getting a new john anyway as mine is short and seams to clog, which flusher is the best?
-
it also appears all of us are pretty talented at clogging the throne too.

I hate using a toilette that isn't worth a damn. Mine is one of those Low Profile ones. I sit with my damn knees in my chest, and I ALWAYS take a half time flush break. Must be all that brisket and ribs....

Ah for a bathroom I guess that makes sense. The bathroom I am doing right now is just a water closet though so no real moisture without a shower or bath. I doubt it would be needed then really Sean. Unless you had some powerfull thai food and your really breaking a sweat in there. Oil is a pain to work with. I'm at work right now with white hands and arms because I forgot that I needed more mineral spirits. We have 3 adults and one bathroom.... That shower gets plenty of OT. When I repaint my exterior, I will oil prime that too. I'm usually an over kill guy if there is a chance of a problem.

I vote for a behringer if cost is an issue. QSC would be my next on the list. The XTi isn't what I would really recomend for sub duty.

Long post. It could be summed up too, that all the old painters I work with will use oil based if they want it to last.
-
Short answer. Seals better than anything else. Get the kind that is awefull smelling too. It just works better. I have done tons of exterior painting, and every GREAT paint/primer I have used has been oil based. That's enough for me, but there is more to my issue than that. Long answer. :deep breath: In this case, oil based primer is the only way to seal my walls anyway. With all the moisture in a bathroom that is your number one priority. In my situation the walls are unique material (gypsum with holes in it to duplcate lathe, then plaster, then a finishing compound similar to drywall mud) and there was vynal paper up with a really horrid latex under that in the bathroom. I couldn't strip all the paste and paper, and when I started to sand it off I got to what I beleive to be a shitty latex primer, or paint. It peels and rolls when sanding. Latex in a moist enviroment will always buble. I have never seen a latex paint work in a moist enviroment really. If I end up using a latex over the oil primer, I may be ok if it gets good adhesion. If I didn't use oil primer though it would pass moisture through the primer layer, it would contract and expand and mess with the bond of the wall and the primer and buble. It's a combination of the simple the fact oil and water don't mix, or the fact oil bonds better. I'm not sure, probably both. For me oil primer is the only thing that will bond if there is any past/glue residue, or paint. I could sand all the way to the plaster and remud and then maybe get away without oil based, but even then, I would still probably use an oil primer if it's still on the market by then. And it would be 10's of hours more. Since I will have company in 2 months and still need to patch 2 ponds, create a patio, somehow get my kitchen finished, and geta garden started, I need my time. It may be fuzy logic, but when I think about latex, all I need to do is use water to wash it away, if it gets on something. Oil, I need a specific type of chemical to remove it. I'm sure in 2 years the wife will change out a sconce or a toothbrush holder, and want to repaint anyway, but I like to do things right either way.

I'm still high from painting yesterday. It's sad. I'm in the bathroom putting on primer, and I can't even smell it with my mask on. I step out of the room take off the mask, and instant brain damage. Oil based primer FTW headache it gives me FTL

These look like great woofers. I would have to sell my Q......

I hear ya there!!!! the one I have here WILL NOT CLOG We are talking like 4 bananna peels down the shoot, and multiple HORRID nights, and 6 mths till the pipes clogged.........Toilet never did J The one I have in my room here at school is just epic. It seriously laughs at my best attempts. Sometimes I feel self conscious and pathetic after giving it my all, only to have no effect on it. I feel your pain, it's ok like 1 in 5 men suffer from it. There are little blue pills for that now, and you will be a machine again.

27 on the 28th of this month. I'm way too young to feel as horrible as I do. Last years medical issues, and my weight gain since this job stole years off my life I'm sure. I am starting to second guess how long I might have had issues that were just mostly dormant. With most of what I'm dealing with, untill the symptoms became a daily annoyance I thought I was fine. It's weird, since I had my gastro/urinary issue, everything went to hell super fast.

Big Jon, how many inches have you taken off the belt so far? Keep at it man and the results will amaze you.

Also some skilled welders, coffee nuts, gun collectors, and photography people. no doubt. It doesn't get too much better.
