Costco has the best deal on Cyto sport vanilla. It's good for the price. From there, it's all you get what you pay for. I will also vouch for trueprotien or whatever the website is. I've had luck with them, but it was a long time ago. I mention as I know some people here will probably chime in with them too. Like you, I avoid powders. I'm also finding myself way low at the moment since I'm back into heavy lifting. So I opened up the trusty old bag from Costco, that like You are thinking, I keep on hand to feed my wife. It's sweet also. I find that's why they like it. It's a healthy "cheat " to them. I started using Greek yogurt, or kefir in my smoothies, but I like the huge dose of protien from whey. It's still something I cannot replace with food completely when training intensely.

Yup! When I was in shape I would jacknife stretch, and the rollypoly's a couple times a day and boom, feel great. Now I can't go that extreme, and my hips are jacked. It's cray.

Holy shit my body is changing. Sleep, the ability to eat properly and back on my meds regularly sure help. The scale is going up but my muscle mass is going crazy. Back to a 3 muscle group split, lifting 4 times a week. So Monday and Friday the same group gets hit. Take off Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday. My goal is actual body weight under 280 by December 1. I will really have to control my food because one growing like crazy at the moment. Last day of squatting every day for a month Tomorrow. So I think I'll switch to way more cardio to drop weight. I hope I can really decrease my body fat % the next few months. Should be fun.

At the moment I cannot keep up with nearly half of those movements, but when I was competitive I could squat my heaviest set and lay back fully(see time stamp at 8:30), then roll into splits.... Those and the Rolley Polleys and your hips and back are set. I'm just not there yet, so I supplement.

Her approach to loosening the interior groin and getting the upper glutes is amazing. Being able to add those moves into a flow is dope. Sometimes I'll just throw on a yoga clip for whatever hurts that day, and if I don't like the flow, I modify it. I really should go to a class, but I'm pretty sure unless I find some brilliant person I cant afford, I'll be frustrated.

Sean you asked about my stretching routine. This is nearly identical to what I used to do for maintenance. Not at all surprising that Allan and I developed a nearly identical routine since we both have a posture and functional strength focus. You know me. If I'm not on a team moving the ball down fiel,d I get uncomfortable. I'm hard on myself because it's all passive learning. I think I might be too bitter for academia.

Hadron found the Higs Boson and that's cool. I'm honestly more tickled about the gravitational waves. If you hear the story about how they picked up the best possible signal before they were even ready, it's amazing. Watching a team of people like that find something like that was awesome. Love maths.

I'm a pretty uncool person unless you also just throw information against your brain like spaghetti on a wall and see what sticks..... but my friend is dating a guy who works/ed on the LIGOS team and I feel pretty happy that I can keep up with all the principals on what they are doing and talk about the scales they deal with. I seem to make really brilliant people really comfortable in situations they might not be. He seems happy when I show up. Most people glaze over.

I pace and learn about math. I spent a few hours the other day really diving into Bell's Theorem. Lots of the trig used in measuring the wave forms for photons.

That looks interesting. I'll check into it. I have a lot of trouble reading right now. As good as it is for me, I find myself feeling most at home trying to learn while I move. Maybe books on tape could work.
