During high school and college I was very tan because I'd be outside all the time without my shirt on, playing catch with my brother or roommates, or fishing, working on the farm, etc. But I've sat at a desk for the last two years and I've turned back white. The sucky part is that my gf was outside the same amount as me, at the same times, is also German (though some Spanish), is whiter than me, and didn't get burned 1/4 as bad as me. Unlucky me. I can usually hide up here in MN all winter and go to Florida in March and spend a long weekend on a boat fishing 12hours a day and not get burned My friends who come with usually end up like lobsters even with sunscreen You are a bastard. I'm getting bad with this. Just had a guy PP me some money for something, and I spent it 30 seconds later on something else. Did you spend what I sent that way too?? I still haven't gotten that pully off. sucker is ON there. I'm going to take it to a shop I basicay did a good job rounding over the nut using a pipe wrench and a socket. often I wrap my scallops in bacon, and that slows the cootime down by a TON. so it's always tender rare and perfect inside... God I want more scallops tonight. I need to suck it up and buy some of the HUGE fresh ones. I pretty much stick to frozen 90% of the time. I know.... it's know it's not the same... But I love them so much anyway..

I should have had the egg hotter I think. It wasn't blazing like I would usualy do a big scallop. I was also trying to do a steak and chicken at the same time... So I gave them too little attention.

I haven't had a working kitchen since october, and no countertops or a sink since last week. Thank god for the egg!! BTW, the next time you do scallops 90 seconds a side will do Coat them with a little olive oil first. If a crust forms faster that you are satisfied with since the BGE is rolling, don't worry about flipping them earlier. If they cook for less than that I'd let them rest a little bit before serving, but only a couple minutes nothing like a steak. In general scallops should be eaten without a rest. TY for the update!

You're getting into an area where I think some of the other people here could help you. I don't understand modeling so well. I personaly have a boner for the shiva/bash combo myself, tuned nice and low. Middle teens I would expect to do well. As for the question about game sound efects... Hot damn. I wouldn't say that most games try to get as low as some really cool movie sequences(mostly sci fi movies), but, in games you will have a much much much much higher repetition of the times it does dig quite low. ie. If your playing halo or something of that nature, it's like a 6 hour action scene. If your watching die hard there is all this talking in the way of more stuff blowing up. Some games are incredible with the low end noise, definately pisses the wife off if she's trying to sleep. Movies do a good job of that too as our bedroom is right below my HT.
