the 5.4 2V ford COP problem that sucked ass untill the 2000's. That is the most likely. I think the alt was weak from when I got it... it never held high 13v-14v at all after it warmed up. A lot of guys just squirt/spread dielectric grease on the coils to stop the issue. I should have but my cousin in law said it was worthless to do. He's a Mechanic full time, and runs a shop out of his garage after the day job. I'm gonna use the grease when I change them again and just buy the tools to do it my damn self.

I got a V belt from fleet farm Didn't even think to go there! I have 2 new problems though... The AC unit itself wont put out cold air. It tripped the breaker, and I tried it again. I didn't get to really look at the unit outside untill well after dark... FUKKITALL! The fan on the unit isn't spinning. It's wound up hotter than hell fire though. I have no idea how a fan like that just goes bad... GHEY. So now I have to fix that. Also, Last night I found my yard sprayer must have had liquid in it's line. I started spraying my lawn and it just sprayed all through the handle. weed killer all over. I tried to work with it, but the smell and probably it soaking into my skin was making me sick. I did get all the rust off my brush guards though, sprayed about 5 coats of a matte finish. I'm going to finish enameling tonight. I also changed my oil, but the dumb kid at NAPA forgot a quart when I was checking out. I was furious. I did try some new oil called Fischer 7000 synthetic, or something like that, just to see if it helped it run more smoothly, but now I'm just going to change it again next week with royal purple. Wake up the morning... Truck is having timing issues AGAIN! They seam to go bad after a night of the truck sitting outside in a verry light sprinkling rain. If it's a downpour, I'm all good. The speedometer and gauge issue happened in the rain too.

Napa in St. Louis Park. Used to be open 24 hours, now just until midnight (or close) and they are the warehouse location for Mpls so they will have it. I plan on hitting up NAPA tonight. I think they can custom chop any size belf for you right there can't they. Thank you for the tip on that location. That will help alot.

I have really been looking at the STS turbo systems for my truck. They have a rear mounted turbo, and it comes with a kit of bent pipe and all the trimmings, but my old 2V 5.4 is really restricted.
