I was looking to do an engine swap, but I think that might not be a long way out. The wife has been talking about wanting a new car. So I'm not getting a go fast or mud toy.

    Own a piece of history!!

IN chinease medicine they use these as male enhancement. At the right frequency it will add length and girth, when combined with the proper herbs
  6. No doubt. I would be afraid it isn't copper at that price.

Al is like THE god of the 5.4, but there are a lot of great modular engine building companies. Most of them cater to the 4.6, but like the 302 and 351, the only main difference is the deck height. The 5.4 shares everything else with the 4.6 right down to even the camshafts and pistons. Rods of course are longer, but everything else is essentially the same. IMO, I would go with the turbo or a supercharger. Cheap, easy, and reliable. These engine respond very well to power adders. I like the idea of the rear mount Squires turbo idea. They have a universal kit, and I have a buddy who will weld the tubes no problem. I think all I would need it a tune then and maybe bigger injectors. You'd need to tackle the fuel system before doing the tune and during the turbo install. Depending on your boost and power level, also shortblock condition, I'd start out with 60lb. injectors, as large a mass air meter as you could find, and a good fuel pump. You NEVER want to run lean, especially with the powdered metal rods the modulars use. Good tip! Thanks.

I would love to give it a lift and some big rubber, but I would have a hard time convincing the wife of that, it already doesn't fit into most ramps, and she has to jump to get out and run and jump to get in. LOL at short people. although... I lol only because I hurt inside. I will never be able to drive some cars due to height and my shoulders.

yes to both, completely different vehicles. <-- doesn't fit in a C63 very well I read E63!! The c63 would be more fun I think then hands down. Why? Because in the 2 reviews I have read they said the rear rubber doesn't have enough contact patch. That means super fun wheel spin and a big manly v8! I am not a fan of the looks of the new c class. I call it the Mazda benz, though it looks much better with the AMG badge than the standard C. I have yet to drive either though. I don't think I would fit either Sean.

I have been looking into that company you told me about Ryan, they seam pretty danged amazing. I"m also checking out the STS/rear mounted turbo. I just put in an email to them for S & G's, maybe I can walk away with FI and hold on to a few bucks. I don't know WTF I would get it tuned though. I don't think they have a local dealer.

Fun??? IMO I would rather have the AMG. By a long shot. It's NA, it looks subtle and only slightly agressive. I also think the E class is just about the most comfortable sedan ever made, and AMG seats are the shit. Plus the V is GM. The regular CTS is sexy. The CTS-V... not so much. The 09 cts is a dead sexy car. Like a panther and an armani suite had sex. The V just got it all wrong. I was making fun of it a while back and called it "A short italian guy in a wife beater puffing up like he's got napleon complex in spades"

They don't need it, and that's why I get nervous that they are just over reaching. It looks pretty interesting, and I liek the idea of some day having a mofular based DI engine. I think that would be pretty interesting. Really really lends itself to some wicked turbo aplications. They do already, but you get my point.

I'm not a Blind Ford follower, but they make a better truck and are a better company. I hope they keep their integrity in the next few years. They will be the top dog for some time, and with absolute market controll it will be interesting to see what happens.

    Welcome to the IHoP

if the reports are close to true Ford will finally have an out of the stable truck that can compete with the stupid HP wars that go on with GM dodge Chev etc. I just hope they didn't sacrifice too much to come up with the engine.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I'm excited for the new ford 6.2 v8. From what I hear it's going to have a crap ton of potential, and I think if I read it right the SVT f-150 that will get it first will have 400/400 for HP and TQ with a nice wide powerband. And that's going to be a 2V. I heard somewhere on the web that they plan on a 4v with direct inject. That screams twin turbo all up and down the street. SEXI
