    Welcome to the IHoP

im poasting from my tp2. it is amazing. i love muh winmob. c did great on both hardware and the touchflo system. Its a snap to lean and use. mobil 6.5 should be cool too. tmobil did get rid of the front faced camera(no skype or anything else) and to use 3.5mm jack u need an adapter. other than that its sexy. tmob data is fast i can poast with decent speed in the dark theme. ij low fi its less than %secs to load a new window. im trying to get flash on opera now. if u want a dataphone and are not tied into BB's, and maybe even if u can figure a way around that the tp2 is GREAT!

    Welcome to the IHoP

I'm drained, but really I wish I could have helped my friend who's sister was the one killed. He's tougher than hell in my opinion. Nothing I can do, really but be there if he needs a hand from outside his family. You summed it up Sean. Those are always just news articles, not something you are ever associated with. When I was really young a closer aquantance (friends boyfriend) was stabbed some 15 times over cheese cake on new years eve, but that was about a dude on crack, and a bad mix of people that he was trying to get out from hanging with. Over north I saw so much violence in '95 etc. This is so much more punishing though on my psyche though; probably because I never saw it in a billion years, the nature of it all especially for what the girls and their slightly older bro will have to do with no parents, and the know exactly why(they were the ones to call the police in fact), and finally because I was involved with the husband in working for him building and in a social nature. He pretty much helped some guys out of the gutter. That and it's really true how bad the media trumps it up. The stories about the whole thing were complete mock ups and deceit in some cases, and they posted pictures of the girls being led into squad cars from the night it all went down. I lost some huge respect for a lot of the local news in how they behaved. I'm probably overly sensitive, but they did nearly deceive purposefully with some of the reporting.

that's so hard to deal with. I'm glad for your friends ability to over come it though. Cancer eats away at peoples drive to keep pushing on as much as it does organs and the body it seams.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I'll share some so you don't feel so alone. Got a call today from my mom, she said my aunt that beat breast cancer 7-8 years ago has cancer again. This time it's in her lungs, blood, lymph nodes, and bones, and is terminal. I guess the only thing they can do is give her a little bit of treatment to keep it from going to her brain as long as possible, which is inevitable and is the lethal part. They said likely 12-15 months. At first I was sad, obviously. Then as she told me more details, like how she has gotten PET scans every two years (that's how they found this, saw the bumps in her lungs) and chemo pills or shots or something every couple of months since her breast cancer days, I became more pissed at the doctors for not catching it earlier, perhaps when it was still treatable. It seems to me that if it's already in four different systems, that it's had a bit of time to manifest (granted some cancers move fast), and I just thought that a PET scan only every 2 years was very inadequate for somebody who had just beaten cancer in their 40s. That is tough. My grams needs to pass on when she is ready. Her mind is in a different place, she is sometimes really cryptic when I visit and sometimes cruel, and doesn't have a shade of an idea of who I am anymore I don't think. Once every 101464894564698465418965146th visit or so though she will smile when some one visits and just says hi and that I think for a nano second she knows she's loved. Her body and heart are outlasting her mind in this case. She is 96 though. I'm preped for her to pass away, it won't hurt less, but at least I'm braced. The womans wake I went to on Sunday was too munch gravity as I'm still quite shocked. No one outside of MN probably heard but there was a murder suicide a ways north of where I live. The husband strangled his wife in front of his daughter(s) then hanged himself in the pole barn. I spent quite a few evening in that pole barn and on their property with many of my friends, one whom was brother to the woman who was choked. I'm still in shock really. I can't say anything without being cliche as to how weird it is what happened.

    Welcome to the IHoP

no doubt. Shell fish is so amazing. The wife may be alergic. She had some shellfish when she was younger and broke into a hive like situation. If I had an alergy to shellfish I would suck it up, take a benedryl on the rocks and then go nuts on the scallops anyway. On my 1st anniversary I had a reaction to Oysters. Went in for the full gamut of tests and find out I am not allergic to anything other than ragweed and cats. My doctor tested me for local alergies. She said the tests show nothing, but my sinuses are jacked eyes water, and throat gets a "closed tight" feeling. But she assured me it's not alergies. She would like to try good shell fish again... Where can I get the freshest locally Sean? Scallops crab/lobster maybe mussels(those would be all me though I bet. I want to get the freshest just to ease her into seafood. Maybe make my life better in the long run if she isn't alergic as she thinks and actually enjoys it. I love shellfish so much myself, even fresh frozen works. Frozen scallops that end up a bit over cooked still taste like the food of the gods to me. It's not on the same level as perfectly done fresh, but I'm such a seafood whore I'm just happy to be eating it.

    Welcome to the IHoP

red dragon is cheap. I love that dive though. One of my favorite drinking spots. I worked in bars for a good while, and it was a great place to get away from all the people who would be at the club. Great pork wontons, general tso, fried rice and pot stickers too. Plus the wonderous punch.. that is one of the best dang drink values in the minneapolis. They raised the price to just over 10 bucks though. And2 shots of bicardi dark bicardi light meyers and 151 each is the express ticket to a happy new astral plane. And I can't taste one drop of booze in that drink. Dammit Sean, you got me worked up wanting a punch for breakfast today now!

Did anyone try to watch the meteor shower last night? I couldn't see anything from my back yard. If I would have planned it I would have drove out of the city a ways and watched.

Yesterday I had the most horrible messed up stomach at around 8:00pm. I think it was the liquer crap finally catching up from sunday night. I may not have fully sobered up untill last night too, so it's a reasonable assumption.

I dunno about this year. My grandma is on her way out and they are measuring time in weeks..... And if she goes I don't forsee grandpa really wanting to hang out for much longer either. That would make some 6 funerals this year, and after the 2 this week, I'm all done with greif.

They are mildly brain dead. My wife is a smart woman... but her dislike of any food from the water kills me. Our room mate at least likes fish, just not sea food.
