Find one for me to apply to General Dynamics, Dell and Lockheed are looking for senior positions to fill down here in TX They are all too big to hand me the whole reigns. My next step I want to make all the decisions I want as I am sick of idiots slowing me down. I might eat my own words but I am okay with that. If you are like me, or rather myself like you, I bet you get revved up at the thought of slicing through stagnant issues and shitty ethics and pulling forward a dieing buisness model. I stay awake thinking about that, especially if I have had some cocktails....

I'm at a point in my life where yes i would miss my wife, but I would RELISH the travel. I love planes, I love airports, I love the motion and the constant sense of being aware and how connected I feel with the whole population when ever I travel. Maybe not forever, but when I was cut, that particular mold was also put out and it's a great match. My wife may think differently though. I bet mini me at home makes it tough too!

This is true. I'm living that right now. However being on top of a corporation and helping to guide it allows you to have the "I did that." also. Right now I'm a CSR basically. Massively over paid and WAY more overly qualified. To put it in perspective I worked with a director of half of the nation for a huge security firm, a guy who ran exactly what our office does.... only for a large PART OF THE NAVY! The girls who watch more face book than get things done and talk about dancing with the stars will acheive more than I ever will in the envoriment I am in. This dynamic promotes based on the ability to pass the buck.

I have zero desire for a job such as that. Stick me in a shop and give me a slightly absurd list of stuff you want built. Rhetorical question: what sort of pay would make you change your mind Good point, but from what I know of that style of work/life it would be an inordinate amount of money, and I wouldn't want to do it. Not that I wouldn't do something like that if I had to/became available just don't think I'd do it for to long, nor be happy with it. Let's see. Get paid a lot, make all the decisions for the whole company, and do whatever else the hell you want to. Sounds like fun to me. Yup. I'll take that too plz.

...sometimes I miss sales...... Me too. Was a hard switch going into management only. When i did bedding I was a sales manager. I felt so great and giddy. My demotion really crushed my enthusiasm. After 5 years now in neither management now a money motivated office I find more and more every day that I was cut out to be a cut above and not anything less, and the current job forces me to anchor my ability. Success in my current position is frowned upon.

"You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat."

Find one for me to apply to I wasn't the one going out asking for challenges. Don't make me do the leg work. But that was the challenge. per request i encouraged. I am merely a muse. And feeling a bit like Puck tonight and full of unruly mischeif.................................. and some booze....

:stirs the pot: I will let you know if I see something that I think would suite you however. I'm just rarely looking at jobs in the tax bracket that I assume your tax bracket is. Then again assumption is the mother of all fook ups. You could make mimimum wage and just be good at investing and saving! "The hardest thing in the world to understand is the income tax."

Especially when the salt is shitty and ruined and the water is less safe than the tap. Actually just goes to show how fucking stupid the American consumer is. There are a few things about Europe I REALLY wish we absorbed better, but it is all related to people and not geography. Social liberal fiscal conservitism.
