    Welcome to the IHoP

After a ride. Whether I could stomach or not doesn't matter if it is good for the body. That's the spirit. You will probably notice a difference in recovery time in a week or so, and from there you may want to adjust based on what you feel.

Even better point. My tenderloins are always rare to blue. I have never had a Wagyu steak. I'm jelly.

The only horror is the fact that the way beef is ground here you shouldn't eat it that way. Definitely good eats when its ground in an appropriate manner. All this meat talk makes me want carpaccio. I have never had steak tartare interestingly enough.

anything other than bleeding for non bone steaks is silly. T-bone and porterhouse I like a more heat to be sent through the bone and conective tissue to enhance the flavor. Anything else needs to looke like a ruby inside.

NutriTOP BTW did you try it after pedaling or just a little sampler to see if you can stomach it?

    Welcome to the IHoP

You did gud! Only looking for nutrient content (in grams) not actual product weight. Sounds like you were definately close enough for hand grenades and protein shakes. Dextrose isn't much for sweentess. Doesn't add too much at all in flavor, fruictose is WAY higher. Dextrose should be nearly exact in nutrient as it is in mass. The only aditives to it are probably to stop clumping. What nectar flavor did you get?

I hate projects in the summer because it's too hot or I want to be outside. I hate projects in the winter because it's too cold and I can't open the windows.

No doubt. The only trick I have found is to make then make the oOOooooOoooh OOooh sound. Eddie Murphy was right. You can pretty much do anything then.

Maltodextrin? 60 grams and 30 grams of protein from nectar. (should be a scoop and a half) lol, have to go look. I just ordered whatever you linked Awesome I think I linked dextrose. Either way start with 60 grams sugar and 30 grams of protein. 2:1 carb to protein. See how it feels. You're a pretty in touch with your body kinda guy. From there you can fine tune the ratio or amounts. You're so tall I wouldn't be shocked if you could slam more with no problems. If you have questions ask away, I'll do all I can to help you troubleshoot or fine tune. You will see some big results just from adding this though. And of course you know to stay hydrated. One word of advice is that these fast digesting sugars and proteins will make your body kick into over drive, so you may be ravenous 30 min after you're done pedaling and have slammed the drink. Avoid Fatty food for an hour as it will slow down your bodies over drive.

Germany on the 30th. How was Germany? Meetings with our CEO and Engineering teams went really well. Spent 36 hours in Paris on the way out which was awesome. Oh, and Matt, I "luckily" was there on Labor Day so the kitchen store was closed. Knew that going in, but frustrated as I needed some things. SAD FACE! It's all good. Drink some good german beer while in germany? I have a hofbrahouse mug from when roomie Sean went there.

Maybe they shouldn't have been speeding. I mean wouldn't that have solved the whole problem? Why were they going 75 in a 55 during a charity event? Makes no sense. Agreed. However it's still foolish. They basically waiting for a bunch of people who didn't know the roads to be in a place where they were not aware of a change in the speed limit so they could get a HUGE increase in speeding fines. If they caught them in the 100kmph zone it wouldn't have been nearly the percentage in over the limit. From 20% over to 33% over. Then they lied to the media. Catch speeders, fine. I don't agree with the law or the punishment but upholding law is important. Anytime the law stretches it's lengths though to spread untrue facts is expenonentially worse than ANY speeding.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I need a new laptop I think. I want to get rid of the old mac, which I love. I just can't fit it into my all PC lifestyle. Even though it runs current progs pretty dang well. What I want is something with a good deal of processor power. Lots of app running and number crunching, web surfing and multi tasking. It won't be used for games really. I want the smallest form factor (screen size) I can get that will still have some power. I don't care about weight and I don't care too much about battery life. Anything over 3 hours would be fantastic. Anyone ever try a DIY rig? Any suggestions?
