OK OK the kuhmos are kinda siped but the duratrac's are way way way more so if we want to call lug cuts siping. I'm more familiar with siping when the way sandt mentioned. The guy at the tire shop basically called any cut in any lug a sipe. He said they could sipe the tires as sandt mentioned if I wanted. the duratrac's are also "extremeweather" rated. WTF ever that's worth. I do know however I can stud these bishes.... not that MN allows that but still..

I used yoko paradas on my jetta and with those and heavier rims I could outpace audi a4's with average rubber, even in the rain and they have their fancy AWD. I could not however even move in the snow.... yikes that was bad.

I had these. I got these. Duratrac's look way more apropriate for some wheeling Kind of similar looking to the Scorpion AT. I sure wish I had Boggers or Super Swampers 2 weekends ago. Lost all traction uphill, steep grassy, wet slope and almost rolled when doing a J-turn.... I keep calling them duratec's lol. I talked to a guy who had them at the shop and I think with all the siping and the way the tread blocks are close, then spaced then close again it helps in snow. The siping will help on ice. They did recomend I rotate etc every 3500 miles to make them last the longest. It's odd that they would recomend that as they have to do it for free for me. Little do they know I will show up every time I change my damn oil.

Someone is Jelly. not jelly, just pissed I have this annoying "integrity" thing That's an evolutionary defect on your part.

What's funny is the kuhmo MT tires get great snow reviews. They are siped, no wonder A friend of mine has KL71's on his Defender, only good things to say about them in snow. I can't complain with the Bighorns either. But the Bighorns are a soft compound. Can't wait to get a set of rims and get some street rubber. SOrry I meant these. No sipey sipey.

Sadly, IMO it is the parent's fault. When I grew up I got my ass kicked for disobedience and for not doing my chores. Bad grades? Ass kicking and grounded forever. When I did poorly in school, I got an F not an "E" for needs more effort. When we failed a grade, we were held back. We were accountable for our actions. If we didn't do what we were supposed to we got stomped on. Nowadays I see my son's friends getting brand new cell phones and dirt bikes and stupid shit just because they brought that D up to a C. Kids are coddled today by society, but they are learning this at home. I still stomp my son if he doesn't do right. I take away the things that matter most, and I don't make a big deal out of a good grade. It is expected. If he gets a bad grade though, he knows he will get his ass kicked. That is called parenting. I agree in general, I do usually follow the reward good behavior thing. I wouldn't however throw praise for bringing up a D to a C. Good grades are A's. And I sure as heck wouldn't buy them anything epic for doing it.

I love rent-a-center. Brilliant buisness plan.

Renting property sucks. everyday it sucks. but you know what? It's another leg on the stool of financial stability. It's harder than a 403/b or 401/k, as it requires attention, but it's amazingly powerful if a crisis hits!

Looks under skirt. Oopsies... my soap box is showing.

No doubt sandt. but it's ok all the money we are borrowing now all the kids will have to pay off anyway so they won't even have to learn how to spend properly. Best part is that pretty soon all the older folks will be officially OLD, and then we will have more retired than working. No worries there either. When we all kick the bucket everything we earned and saved for the kids will be taxed huge and the ungreatfull little rats will just be happy to get their 40% of the original value of their parents legacy, and then they will stimulate the market buy putting down payments on new apple products or underdeveloped green cars that have a lerger enviromental impact on earth than old fation fossil fuels.

I think that we both love a comfortable day to day life and don't want to "save" for a vacation, and we're too tight to just put it on a card.

It's interesting that me and the wife don't travel more. We haven't even had a "honeymoon" and it's our 2nd 1 year aniversary.

true. I just plan on retiring real real real real real early.

My whole family WORKS for a living. All of them have done HARD work too. Not all labor. Some in the defence industry, some for the state of MN etc.... But I see them all at retirement age and they are going to live comfy comfy comfy. I want that, but I really don't want to wait untill then to get it. So I'm going to work double time and twice as hard and figure this thing out.

I think when I'm a bit older travel will be my #1. Right now I want to build a fortune and buisness so I can earn without working.

meh. I'm happy. I'm just also.... greedy. Greed is good. I want more of everything good and less of everything bad.

I have gotten nothing done... on my life goals though... I had attained too many of them too young. I have had a super fast bike, owned my own home. I now own 2 homes and even been through a forclosure, found the woman I need to get old with. Had a really high paying job that sucked my life, now have another life sucking job making less but have time off and amazing benefits. All I have left is to own a big boat and an itallian car, as I am working on starting a buisness renting property. I don't really count it as a buisness yet as I rent to the brother in law for next to nothing as he is unemployed.

over 15 year difference isn't it? Things just keep getting better. But it doesn't have an ///M on it so boo to him. Just a mere imitation of the v10 greatness. Thank goodness my 97 ford has nearly the same skillz as the new ones! I think it looks better too. NOW I REALLY need to go test drive some of these beauty's. My wife says she will buy me a BM'er BUT I took a rain check until I start my mid-life crisis. ANYONE know what age I might start my midlife crisis????? I'm 28 and in wifey appeals court right now. I told her I need to leave my job start an organic help clothing line and coffee shop, realign my chakras with the earth mother, and buy a car with a bull or a horsey on it.

Interestingly enough every one I know that currently owns those hates them in the snow. Now perhaps they went too wide so it looked cooler and it wasn't tall so it was floating. Not sure. I had a pair on a truck when I worked for the state(the state didn't spend that money but somehow they were on the fvkkin truck) and in everything else they worked great. In snow, it sucked big. A buddy of mine who plows tried them out too and he was dissapointed. I thought they would be great for snow but for some reason everyone I know has had issues with them and would rather be in a road tire or mild AT tire.
