    Welcome to the IHoP

I like a bit stiffer ride myself. Up untill recently I didn't like ANY american cars unless it was for pure go fast style. I have also come to loath asain cars. They feel like they are made to snap apart or rot out quickly. Cars like the new taurus SHO and CTS-v are great, but they are priced too high. In 5-10 years maybe... and I probably won't buy a car untill then... however I'm always looking to replace the W's vehicle. All day all the time.

Though I appreciate your idea peng I'm less into the super go fast, more into style comfort and interior. The ford lacks all of those.

Also I hate the crap out of audi..... I can't even get into the A8. The A6 geometry is ok, but the A8 is actually really tough to squeeze into.

What do you german car guys/car guys know about the german big sedans? Especially ones with big engiens ie V12's. What's effed up is in looking at prices the large sedan's are cheeper than the mid size sedans. Since I'm not autobahning it might be something to look into. Plus I hate the recent 5 series, and the 760's seam to be cheep. I also see some with 120+miles on them. WTF.

Wow I can't beleive it's been so long since I posted in here. Well I have made some good progress so far. I still haven't started lifting yet. I'm so drained from work. I hope I can start this good habit this weekend and get some time in the gym.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I plan to again soon. I had my tongue pierced and my nape peirced. I couldn't squat with the nape though so when I started lifting classically again I had to loose it. I never got a tattoo but I would really like to. I just don't know what I would want. The W loves tattoos though. I have not had any artwork done in a long time, and I am getting the itch. Get a brabus tattoo. or //AMG

    Welcome to the IHoP

The guy who did my nape was about 125 lbs and was FREAKED out because I came in wearing a tie and khakis, and I was in amazing shape at the time. Well he had me on the table and couldn't get the needle all the way through and thought I was going to kill him if it hurt. I would have laughed about it, but I was a bit annoyed at having a needle 99% of the way through the back of my neck. My W (gf at the time) knew one of the guys who owned the place, they may have dated I forget. Anyway, it cracked me up. As for the ink, right now in my life, I need it to be able to be covered by clothes. I like Koi quite a bit. Even before I knew the stories about why/what they symbolise. It's pretty common though.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I took 2 days off for brain pain. Migraine's suck. Bummer. I get migraines and cluster headaches, so I know and feel your pain. There isn't much worse then that much pain in your head... and as someone who had 1/2 of his insides removed last year, I understand pain. I have had 2 cluster headaches. That pain is so ungodly unbearable. I was really contemplating throwing my head against the concrete basement in the old house I used to rent. It sounded rational at the time. I may have to go to the MD to get a medical leave as I'm getting migraines on a monthly basis. She will want to throw BP meds at the issue, which I won't take as they make it worse.

When I worked as a laborer for the state and had a second job and was in the gym 4 days a week I was eating 6000-7000 kcal a day. No joke. Everyday. I was still loosing weight doing it too.

That's a great deficit! It will get you about .5 pounds a day in the real world maybe a bit more or a bit less.

I use a Linksys N broadband. I have not had any problems yet. http://homestore.cisco.com/en-us/routers/Linksys-WRT160N-Wireless-N-Router-Front-Page_stcVVproductId53934616VVcatId552009VVviewprod.htm Linksys N ftmfw. We're quick like a bunny. On a related note some hacker/hacker group just punched through firefox and 128 bit passwors encryption. What I'm saying is don't do banking wirelessly even from your own home. My roomate who is a computer nerd by trade is now in school for security and aparently it's the hot word on the street that FF has a hole they exploit and even the highest level of consumer wireless protection is not so good ATM.

    Welcome to the IHoP

That's a hell of a return in one day. My boss told me a similar story about his very first day of being in the stock market when he hit a jackpot and gained $2500 on a stock that he bought and sold that same day. I almost had a story like that. In the span of a week one of my stocks went up 1000%. But I was too excited to sell. I don't think it was a lot of greed, I just was naive about how fast it could fall back and I thought that with the good news that came out it would be sustained at that high level until more news came out and it would go up more, etc. I had only been in stocks for 6-8 months. Well in the next week it dropped as fast as it went up and I sold with the price "just" twice what I paid after I read up more and realized what was going on. Still a great return, but learned a lesson as well. It's just too bad that I'll likely never get to apply that knowledge because that kind of luck certainly doesn't happen often and probably won't for me ever again due to a change in investment strategy. My guy uses collars for me. So that if something spikes big in a short short time it sells. Also if it drops hard in a short time it sells. I limit my gains to also limit my losses. It keeps me long term and keeps me a bit more stable and in the long run usually nets the average invester an extra .5-1% depending on countless variables. If I could drop work and just invest, then it would be different, but since I go to work for my main income I'll leave the day trading to the day traders.

    Welcome to the IHoP

Financially it does make sense. Especially if you have a multi home unit like a quad plex. It makes huge mega ultra big sense. It is also a big risk though. If you ever decide to I have family who does property management in AZ. That being said, from a practicle point of view... it doesn't make too much sense. I put the math up a bit ago and it still holds true. Most rental places do not generate income, but actually drain the investor. If they stick with it for years and years they may have constant proffit, but most get out of a property before then. Lot's of that has to do with tax advantages of getting out withing several years. Anywhoosle, it's a headache to do it, and it goes against everyones natural "instincts". That's only because society teaches us to consume rather than produce. Check out a book called "rich dad poor dad", or if you want a less philosophical and more American bacon and eggs every day aproach check out "the millionaire next door". Talks about the latte factor and other simple ideas that can help change the way you think. Don't get me wrong... I'm not telling you that you should buy a house and rent it. But from a purely $$$$ standpoint, you should. The harsh truth is that it's lifestyle and lazyness that stop people from buying. Heck I should have 2 more places by now, but I'm acustomed to a lifesyle that's comfortable right now. In fact, if you don't make your move someone else will. Maybe I'll get into the AZ market. If you don't buy though I may be able to find you a great place to rent for a great deal. Get muh point?
