He does have a point about nicer areas being targeted. All the thugs where I grew up would drive out to the burbs to go what they called "car shopping"

Oh snap! Dont u live in an apartment? Where did u have it at? Yeah. It was on my back porch. I didn't have anywhere to enclose it. I'm so full of rage I'm not sure how I'm going to work today. Sleep last night definitely wasn't the greatest. Woke up for an hour at a time a couple times, just watching my back porch light and listening to my apartment actually hoping somebody would show up so that I could beat the fuck out of them. I had two dreams and both were about it. I live in about the nicest part of the city, nothing out here is more than 10-12 years old. I thought I would be away from that shit. that sucks man. I am sorry to hear it. One summer night some local kids thought it would be a good prank to turn on the water spout that I have behind my house. I'm not a light sleeper but I notice odd sounds and the water running sure woke me up. Now I'm constantly on edge for noises outside. I've ran out in the boxers with the mag light and 1911 in hand a few times with the roomate

The greatest poet couldn't have said it better -
god help us all if some of their (McCain/Palin) political promises came to fruition...then again, they already have here in Texas... Tell me a truth I don't like and can argue you on, don't tell me a lie I wouldn't know to look out for.

I literally just typed this. We must have drank the same kool aide. "The worst part about Obama is the fact he not only lied blatantly to the mod, and GOP, groups but also to his hardcore Dem votes. We got more of the same under a HUGE guise of change that wasn't ever intended to be delivered..etc..." I just was trying not to debate but now you got my turbos all spooled up. I can't say it enough, Obama was the looser of this because of his tactics. He could have been a winner. A hot dog could have been a rock star if they would not have trumped up lies the whole time. All the hope and change talk and no action accept back scratching and putting forth more laws that haven't even been written. Bush did it under "security", Obama does it under fixing the "economy and eco system". I don't even blame Obama voters any more, they were not just lied to and missled, they had their trust publicly broken and made to look fools for supporting him. Basically they are punished enough by association, they probably even felt like they were doing the right thing at the time... It's all like the failed flying machine story. What you see now though is a whole bunch of people on this great flying machine built by Obama. All ready to sweat and pedal to make this thing fly. It feels great right away when it hangs in the air a second before gravity pulls it down.... Trillions spent on bling and rockstar status and setting up councils to discuss the plan and design, but nothing done for substance or good design. Now that that big fat plane is over the cliff half of those supporters who were shouting "greater good" now are looking at each other whispering "oh SH!T!". All the while smiling and packing parachutes to get as far away from this wreck as possible. All the faithfull are screaming "pedal faster for the anointed one" and the only thing it will get them is they will be more worn out when it all goes up in flames and debt. I feel sorry for those that beleive more than anything else. I do wish it wouldn't hurt the USA so much for the lesson to be learned though.

We see eye to eye here.

Realistically.... I feel that the people who voted Obama didn't get what they were told, promised or shown. instead of change it's more of the same and especially with the war effort after comming into office and even just before he admited he needed to change his song. And making fun of any prez is funny. That's why I loved GW because the em effer could make jokes!

McCain up Palin down. Anyway... here is the facts. McCain is a decorated POW who had quite a bit of international as well as domesting dealings and spent time working in and with the fed. His biggest blunder publicaly. Dropping the old W for a hottie. Obama , he got a peace prize for saying he might make some changes. :meh: If you take Palin and Biden out of the math, it's a no brainer. and McCain could is still alive, so he could have done much better in the past 2 years. I'm not starting a debate as much as taking a humor like look at the fact we put a lackluster-content mouth peice as our leader rather than a POW who has and does put his job above his image. Even though it's obvious and admited by himself Obama is a rock star and cares about image, respect, and family. Yeah I said family. I think the leader of the country comes first and family man comes in a distant second if you take that job.

Lexus down Lambo up. Even makes a good winter beater.. -
:meh: I could care less. It's cool to support america, but only when americal gets something right. If the US makes a garbage truck then no one should buy it. If it's due to outsourced labor, then boo. However if they can make them for less money by using other labor because US labor unions are awefull then so be it. Market proves it everytime. People want short term impulse financial savings not long term quality.

I wouldn't pay nearly that much for a bigger HD. The ram won't do you much good, but if you do get the extra ram make sure you are getting 64 bit win 7

Yep, Japanese cars make my stomach turn. Complete waste. I would say they made a few nice ity bity sports cars. The Supra was nice. I have a special stpot in my heart for the 3000GT. They are cheep to fix kinda sorta too.

Fine until they break. No real love for them, the only one I'd really be interested in is an 850, but I'd rather have the 840 in reality. Wouldn't be a bad car for IMO. 8 series ftmfw. They all come in a v8 also. I was just amazed at then near instant depreciation of some of the 7 series that looked to be in mint condition. You are correct though.... Some of those repair costs I read about are INSANE. You would need 10k just laying around.

The thread.... back from the dead. mMMMmmmmMmmmmm -
Wiki got me! As I said I'm not sure how it works, but if it's free.....

They are excellent cars, just very $$. The other thing is the 2003 and 2004 (I beleive) have extended 7 year factory warranties. Mostly due to the iDrive, which has now been sorted out.
-
If I started driving them I'm sure something with a v8 would probably be beefy enough. I couldn't beleive the thrust from the s500 I tested. It had a WTF was that kind of push. You only get that feeling in a big big car with big TQ. I remember it feeling more hairy chested and grunty than the 911 S I tested. It was drastically slower... but the girth made it feel more impressive.

What has a 500 Hp v6???
