    Welcome to the IHoP

Shooting that AR-10 though is probably the most fun gun I have ever shot. I <3 my 1911. The 9mm xd^m is a blast with those huge clips. .44mag is probably the easiest on me and makes a sweet fireball. There is just something to that .308 in a black rifle style that is magic. You feel like your shooting a gun and theres a satisfying snap from the metal action. The weight isn't insane but it holds the rifle steady. It's really something cool. I really think I need to get new mags though. It seams they gouge brass and I have had it double feed once.

My Lady likes my 1911 and hates shooting the 9mm I got mainly so that she would feel more comfortable with a smaller round. Now she got all "size matters" on me and likes shooting the heavy big guns. You put an AK with a 30 round clip in her hands in only a few moments you will get back one hot gun that is substantially lighter. She will have a big grin and her hand out for another preloaded mag.

Is this a riding mower???? I thought it was a push. Man I have purchased 3 mowers on the street for next to nothing and had 2 given to me. I have 2 pushers. One is non operational... spark plug shot out the front of it and I haven't messed with it since.

.. WHo am I kidding. I would have strapped a turbo on that bad boy and rolled it running dirty. Turbos have been proven to fix engines more that restart fixes your compter or cell phone.

Pull the plug and tell me what it looks like. I pulled the new plug, and its seems pretty dirty to me already. Yes I did rebuild the carb, and all that seemed to look bad to me was the seat inlet, which i replaced. It did seem a little strong on the gas smell when i took the spark plug out today, before i started it again. But after I ran it the smell wasn't to bad. It also seems like to me that the mower is getting pretty hot fast. Could a bad prime bubble cause to much gas to get into the engine? Cuz the prime bubble is never really firm well yesterday i took the carb off again and noticed a little debris in the bowl. So i am soaking the carb in cleaner to help. Also i plan on taking the gas tank off today and draining the gas, and cleaning it. I may have purchased a new mower by now. I R lazy. cost v reward.

Yeah I have always soaked. I was just rushing. It actually was one of the best in flavor I've ever made. I made my usual simple rub. I think the smoker was a bit too hot though. I need to get better temp readings. I've known mines been off for a while just been slow to upgrade.

What did you use for wood and how much? a 50/50 mix of apple and hickory. I used maybe a half a pound would be my guess. I didn't soak them in hooch this time like I usually do... so that was a change. The smoke was super dense instantly, and I noticed that there was a good portion of unburnt wood in the smoker by the time the brisket came off. Chips, chunks, flakes? Apple chip, hickory chunk. The chunk smoked, chips... not as much. Apple was strong in smell though...

    Welcome to the IHoP

I made a great brisket yesterday. It was however not in the egg long enough. I needed lower heat and longer time in there. it was just a bit tough in the middle. One of the best flavored I have done in a while. The smoke ring was maybe rich and bright but didn't penitrate deep as usual. It must have been a bit hotter than I expected.. Tastes GREAT though.

    400lbs in the back.. :|

For the handeling, get a air kit for the back rear. It's cheep enough, and will make you much safer on the road in general. I'm not a GM guy... what I will tell you is to go to a GM truck forum and spend some time reading about who does good custom tunes. Make sure they have good customer service, that's the most important thing especially if you're not going to get it tuned from a shop. A cai won't do much and might actually make things more quirky without a tune if you go about it wrong. Unless you spend a boatload on LT headers you won't get much rewards in power from spending cash on an exhaust. If you to get LT headers, you really want a tune. Bang for buck a programer that can accept custom tunes is the best first step in getting your truck where you want it to be. It's not the same as a car, and since you need hauling performance here not just better 0-60 times with a stripped vehicle having something that can change how the tranny is working and changing gears and firming up the shifts could go a long way into increasing your confidence.

I'll stop by my local Byerlys to check it out! In general I have always hated Kowalski's, with no solidly good reason.
