What's even dumber is they allow black powder.
-
They say it's some kind of liability blah blah blah... aka they want to sell more rounds themselves.
-
I would have to find a friendly range. I know the one I normally go to says no no to hand loads.
-
Progressive it is! $7 per 50 on ACP would pay for the press itself pretty dang quick.
-
Exactly. For the heavier projectile the recomend a tighter than 1 turn per 10 inch. I think the 110 BA savage ends up with a 1:9. Is there any practical reason to use a single stage loader? Would it be more exact? From what I understand it allows for a larger level of error.

Thinking about asking for a trade on the E55?
-
The dillon 550 would then be a progressive stage. (4 stages) I have been reading a lot about cases. Most of everyone says the lapua cases are the best with the least problems and last the longest. For projectiles and loads there is soooooo much debate and it's usually divided by the bore twist if you get better result from the 300 grain or 250. With the savage, it will be harder to find info as less people own that one, but it looks like it's going to be one of the best sellers due to Savage having such high quality and accuracy with such low cost.

The dillon 650 can't do .338 Lap actually. It would leave me with the 550

Can you expand on what you mean by "loading on a single stage"?
-
It's upgrade time!

I think the killer on the minigun would be ammo to feed it.... ... probably don't want to reload all those either....
-
I would mainly want to reload for the .338 and then probably for the .45 pistol. Being able to reload .308 might be nice. I'm not sure how much savings I would get for the 9mm. The 7.62 x 39 is so cheep.. I don't know if reloading that would make sense either. No extreme volume, but something that works smoothly. If it's akward to use or diffocult to set up, it probably won't work for me.

I have a bit of wiggle room with if I can get the rifle at 2k. I would like to stay <1500. I also plan on buying a reloding system. Originally I was planning on rifle glass and reloding system to be 4k. I now see this to be less realistic to get what I want but again if this savage comes through at the 2k or less price point I will be amped. If you ever want to go in 50/50 on the minigun let me know.

I may feel like I need more though if I ever go hunting the wild and dangerous free range locomotive. They can be wiley and resistant.
-
on rifles..... Some day I will probably need to itch the .50 BMG itch.... but it's just so much dang hassle to cary to load to use.... Even if I would be crazy enough to hunt with it... it's 10-15 pounds fatter than even the next heaviest. .338 Lap will do me just fine I think.

Not bad Sean. I ran the KBB on mine and comps recently and I would loose about 900, and it's cost me 1400 over the 3 and a half years. I'll drive that lump untill it explodes or falls apart on the road.

For glass you had better got with a scope with turrets, and the same units on both the reticle and turrets. Something like a mil/mil setup, and get a laser range finder as well. Any recs? I appreciate all your input BTW. I can't search most sites at work, and at home I have no time and no real friends who are into firearms the same way.

Solid gold. Congrats! Was it a misty eyed farewell?

Just sent an email to request 11 days off...... I'm already not looking forward to having to come back.
-
Possibly... He said my front left bearings are about to give out and he can easily shift my tire back and forth. He said it would be about $300 a tire. Idk shit about cars so whatever price he gives me sounds about right, lol. OH NOES! Find you a new guy.....
-
they had a fully set up with fairly good glass and a bipod AR-50 for the same as the 110.... It was hard to not snatch that up.
-
.... calling a guy about ordering me a 110 BA in .338 later today. I got to handle a trg 42 also..... it was stripped and still 700 bucks more..

quinoa is mostly boring. If I can give it that aldente noodle texture or rice texture it might help her, and then I could feel better about using it while changing my diet. It needs some salt and probably fat to taste good however.
-
I'm not positive.... It's cash only though. Liq and meat all cash. I loved the place. Just a bunch of 17 year old guys working there.

Not sure why you need an alternative to rice. My wife loves white rice, doesn't mind brown. She does not eat much for fiber and is a carb-o-holic. If this could quelch some of her starch cravings while getting in some extra nutrients that would be awsome.
