I made drip coffee. It's not as horrible as I remember it.

No doubt. HOP is asleep. Only 9 hours and 45 min left today and then 8 tomorrow broken up with a 2 hour meeting... week is almost over and I'll be living the dream. Took the wife to punch last night for her first experience with that style pizza. Good times.

And not that I like "vacationing" away from my wife... but it will be some most excelent me time.

Sean you have no idea how amped I am for this time off. The W will have to work. I'm not actually planning to do any projects. That means I will work on them. If I plan to, then I'll put it off. Punch for dinner it is. I also have a gift cert that I can use at Mannys. I think I will be eating well the next 2 weeks, and in the gym a lot too.

Are they that really orangey coppery brass? I think perhaps my absolute favorite color/material asthetically is copper prior to oxidization. I just love how it looks.

Sean I think I'm going to take the W out for pizza. Any place make a better one than Punch? I've never had the super thin crust style before, but now I'm addicted....

is the wheel, pedal, and shifter that awesome? I can only drive AT with the controller. Shifting is too much of a mess with the normal controller. I do like the idea of the throttle. Then I can do something other than gass all the way down or all the way off. It would help when navigating some more complex turns that I can do faster than no gass but not full open either.

Sean, maybe you can give me a clue. I don't know anyone who has spent time eating in Japan as you have. When it comes to sake why is some served warm and some cold? What I have been told is that the lesser quality is served warm/hot, and the better sake is served cold to accentuate it's delicate flavors. It's the opposite of beer, and thus wondered if it was smoke directly up my rear of if there is something too it. Not that I like all beed that I think is good warm. Some I love cold... anyway just wondering on your experiences.

I love croissants too, my wife and Sean even more so. We buy the big box from costco and they are gone in a weekend.

SO I have been playing GT5. Awesome game. My wife even played the b spec mode for a couple hours. She liked listening to the Black Horse go around the track. She didn't however like loosing a race, lol. If she can't dominate without contest I don't think she will play again lol. That game makes me feel 15 years old, and just amazed all over again.

I requested a week off.... I really hope I get it. I need some time.

looks like my work investments went up 14.5 and the wife went up 15 or better in % of interest. I think I'm reading this wrong....

Not to early at all. What are we drinking? Roederer. Holidays scream for Champagne You turning me on to Roderer is great. So thanks again. Surdyks ALWAS has a good sale on the sauce, and almost anything under that lable is yummy. Price v flavor and sparkle is really great. I buy other cheep stuff for memosas, but I can drink 2-3 bottles of roderer mah self. I drank at least that during the holidays Hate to tell you I bought it for $14 a bottle...but I had a very short temporary hook up. Loaded up the basement though. Nice deal. Was that the california estate? I was at 17 bucks I think. The goood schtuff. $14 was liquor store cost at 25% of normal distribution price. One time two day special from the rep to my buddy who owns a liquor store. That's an insanely low price. Did you buy 3 cases?

Even with a 7" Redhawk, .44 mag Hornady JHP hunting rounds kick like a freaking mule; can't imagine what a .460 or .500 S&W would do .44 mag in a 20" carbine is pretty fun though Odly with the father in laws dirty hairy mag I can put them through the same hole sOOOOoooo well. However the cocking action makes it take 3 or maybe 4 times longer to line up. If you don't cock it though the pull is so long it throws the shot all katerwhompus. So if I only need a max of 1 shot or if I'm working in the under 7' away range, I'll take the biggest hand cannon I can. But the cost of these revolvers is SO huge, and the cost of ammo is prohibitive unless you reload and then the upfront cost is even more. You could find a reasonable .44mag I suppose, but that Super Nova has been on sale for under 400 a few times with free stuff thrown in. So unless I needed a something super small form factor and had the money and the reloading machine, well then 12 gauge it is.

If you have to have a revolver, go that route. Ryan2 turned me on to some info about autos and gun myths about them not working if they sit and it's all bunk. Find a reliable weapon that is an auto if you want a pistol for home defence. At this point the only reason I would want a revolver is when I want a lot of weight for the sole reason of chewing up recoil from the BIG rounds .44mag, .460, or .500 or something else equaly as awesome. As in if I'm hiking in an area that has dangerous animals, or if I'm hunting engine blocks. An auto will be more repeatable IMHO.
