I'd guess so. $300-500 for a queen isn't enough. 300-500 after haggling, I should say $800 bucks sticker price should last about 5-6 years max. But the foam will be lower quallity and you will see the depressions fast. How did the depressions in the pillowtop cause issues? misalignment on the back, hips, and/or knees; two of said pillowtops my parents got were ~$1000 (half off sticker) and also had the same cratering issues after less than 3 years Was it a simmons?

I sleep on one too. My roomate does, there is one in my spare bedroom. Another old roomate got one too. 2 friends got one from me also, and then their parents did. 2/3 of the guys who I sold beds with do too. Sweet, glad to hear that. Did you sell them before? I sold quite a bit..... maybe 15% of my sales(by volume) were from their product. That says a lot as their price isn't the lowest. I believed in what they made when I was selling beds. Do you still feel the same way about them? I honestly don't know the new line up. I would look at them first if I was shopping again though. Are you still happy with your bed? I love mine, helps with joint pain nicely. It's about 8 years old so it's seen better days. But no reason to change it up yet. Still comfy as can be, I give it another few years barring any real bad dammage. A working box spring helps a lot I think. I've always liked the slatted bed bases myself If it has gaps, springs may not be supported on a flat surface and could cause them to buckle. But for most beds today a really hard flat surface is fine. A working box with a mattress is ideal however.

About right. If they don't negotiate just leave. I could go to ~50% off anything new or floor model with "approval" from a DM. Clearance could be trimmed a lot more. Usually I would get to just above 50% and then call for forgiveness later if I ever needed to get to 50%. I heald line price a lot better than most though so I didn't drop trou so fast. Usually I would give more free jazz away and work it out of the price so I wasn't eating ramen.... Then I became a manager and volumed everything if I couldn't hold line. Bonus checks FTMFW

latex is the most "resilliant" foam when it comes to that. It's also one of the most expencive.

What was the problem? Between the half dozen pillowtops we've had, all of them had them had the same problem: the pillowtop itself stopped springing back. So basically instead of being flat there's a bunch of craters in the pillowtop. Not the mattress itself, just the pillowtop. Other than cosmetically was there a problem?

about 800 min for a queen is the really sweet spot..... Unless you can get deals like I gave. I got a kingthat should have been a 1200 dollar mattress and a paid of boxes at 750 a peice. Those boxes probably have more springs than most peoples mattresses.

Budget wise I don't get it, but maybe you've seen toppers that are a better deal. Warning on mattress shopping. No reason really to ever pay more than 30-35% of retail MSRP. Just bought Aidan a new Twin XL that retailed for $589 for $167. Hmmm, I suppose I need to take the little lady and go mattress shopping. We gotta do the same when we get home. Sean, how do you get the price dropped so much? Every place I go seems to want MSRP or maybe 100 less. J Any salesman/mattress store worth their salt will readily sell you a mattress for half off MSRP; a good one will give you two thirds off brand new product is 50% off... clearance, as in tried and didn't liked, is rock bottomed.

Didn't think they did squat. Why not a new mattress if you are having troubles? Didn't want to spend that much $$$, then again a topper could easily be pissing my money away. in almost any and every way it is. Is there a mattress giant in the area?

Didn't think they did squat. Why not a new mattress if you are having troubles? Damnit. Seans correct. I was guilty of baiting you to give you the same line. YOU STOLE MY THUNDER SEAN!!!!

Most of why gamers get so amped is spacial relation. With a really good dolby decoder etc you can hear distance and location way better than you can in a movie. For spacial relation nothing beats it. I really don't care to be a pro gamer, but I also hate wasting money on china crap for the average gamer. I've gone through 3 headests because I got cheepy cheeps.

the AD700 being less than 100 bucks from amazon is really appealing. Leaves enough cash for the astro mixamp, and the mic and still would be less than most super ultra gamer headsets
-
Word. That's my number one too. I can't find a place to demo any of these, and the headsets at that I could audition and return if I hate are whack. as for in game fidelity, it's getting to the point where more time is taken on properly setting up audio for games than movies. I get WAY more surround action in the theater when playing games than in most actyion movies.

These could be another option, but it would cost more than headphones and a mic seperately. http://www.sennheiser.com/comm/icm_eng.nsf/root/502141
