for 4 years I've been effed over by this. booooooOOOOOooo It could be way worse though. At least it's not 100% constant, and on the upswing, I'm getting so used to it I can almost function normally.

I don't want to quit. I just want to be put into a position to tell the people running the company how stupid they are and how badly they running it. Unless I got promoted to SR Director it wouldn't make a difference here. I would love to not do the job I do, but that has nothing to do with why I want to leave. I can do any job no matter how "horrible" it is as long as I feel the people I'm working for are worth it. Right now no matter how hard I work it's all a waste as they don't have credability or integrity.

R2 buy the smoking plate. I would love a half moon rack too as peng mentioned.... but I'll probably just end up getting either an XL or a gass grill..... Anywhoosle. The stoker Sean has is on my list also. I like the idea of the cast iron grate but I don't know if I would ever buy it unless it was a good deal. I can just buy a bunch of the regular kind and replace as they wear out. The only real accessory/s you need is meat and wood though.

I have got better deals shopping around as uninsured, than when I was on my moms insurance. A really good deal can be if there is a dental school around near you. I used to go to the U of M all the time for everything.

I guess I've never not driven enough for it to matter. Heck some months I've put on 2k+ miles on a vehicle. I think I'm at roughly 50k on the truck in under 5 years. And for about 10 months combined total of that she sat without moving

Hell no! Now THAT is a waste of money. Oils these days are pretty much only going to break down during use. No need to mess with the oil unless it it dirty. BTW, I remember someone asking about oil life minders last month. Apparently all the OBDII cars take mileage and lifetime into effect, so you may see your oil light come on before your mileage is up. I'm no where near an expert, but I was under the perhaps incorrect understanding that even if you don't drive a lot but it's intermitant that the shelf life is still only so long. If you never drive it I would assume it would stay nearly the same with modern oil and how stabil our fluids are, but if you drive it every once and a while it's still good practice to change the oil on a regular basis. I'm not trying to sound like an a hole but it doesn't sound right if I only drive my car once a week to the local store I could sit on the same oil change for 2 years.

Yea, I've just about paid off my 6,000.00 (after insurance) bill for my 2 kids braces ... Yes they sure do rape you for those things. I can't imagine what they are going to cost without insurance..... I will see in July. Shop around and negotiate. Dentists will shave...more like cleave... a significant amount off if your uninsured and are willing to ask for a deal.

if you put on a hefty 600 miles a month for work, it's only about $90 a month or $1080

As I was saying though, if you want the beatermobile then it's a good idea to keep it. Just don't fool yourself into thinking it saves anything.

That theory only has one flaw, you should still change your oil every 3-4 months. Battery will last a shorter amount of time the more it sits. If it's tuned, step up to a turbo. You would probably get a real healthy MPG boost then, and have the option to finally keep up with trucks that have a blue oval on them too!
