Blue is the worst low light color to use. It looks fancy though. Blue light especially from LEDs(even more so cheaper ones) not only clobbers your night vision and reduces contrast, blue light is one of the factors in why we loose overall night vision as we get older. That said its amazingly cheep to do, and since all the blue you will see will be reflected and not from the led itself it would look super awesome. Yes.... I am a flashlight/led nerd.

Yup. I got 4 over. Hence why its ass hurts and not mine. Come to find out that if I wish to transfer its advised that I drop from biotech to a general lib arts. I have to call a u of m counselor to find out.

Making math go ass to mouth TOP.
-
That tests ass will be sore for á few weeks from the hard ass pounding I gave it. Took my 35 to a 54. Not amazing as its out of 120, but the test had significantly harder questions but less trig. 54% improvement. Like Jordan dunking from halfway overnight. I wish I had done better but I did better than I thought I could.

Adrian congrats on the job. I'm 100% jelly for the international travel part.
-
And that is medium well. Looks like you used too much heat too. Sear, then decrease the heat for cooking. When does LF do cheap lobsters? Jelly here. I didn't eat since lunch. Chinese buffet.
-
Math vs Matt round 2. Let's see if I can gain 15 points today.
-
Adrian! Congrats sir. Baller Holliday time. When do u get your company lamborarri?
-
I had Chinese buffet for lunch today. One close by has a decent one with amazingly fresh veg. To me that's the make or break it on chinease food is properly prepared veggies.

I took up a Shit load of HOP and poasts for my bitching. / rant :x

I'm all butt hurt is all. If I need the math then I need it, I'm going to retake the test tonight and tomorrow. If I get that extra 15 points great. If not I pay to get taughteded with all the other dunces.

I am curious why biotech need such high math. Physics & engineering sure. Messing with biology and new tech. though? If it was needed it would be super specific and have its own course. Hell. Even the roommate didn't learn that Shit and he was a game designer and needed to mathematically express physics for the game engine.

I never even took trig or calc. And the last time I did any more than basic algebra (and anything even then would have only been for giggles when I just needed to solve without help for prides sake) would be 1999. IMP math was my last class and beginning trig was the last subject. It's my own fault for not trying harder to be in school/take mathematics after school. I'm just bitter. Even back then though the teacher said learning trig functions was nonsense when u can plug it into any computer and its done in microseconds.

They allow basic adding machine type calculators. Just arithmetic style. And only on some problems. I basically answered many of the ones above my head by solving the original problem using values for x of 1,2,3&4 then solving the 4 multiple choice answers and finding the one that matches. Without any ability to compute digitally exponents slows ya down but its possible. I can still pen and paper it though. When exponents have integers though... Ouch. Still pen and paperable though. What isn't for me is trig functions and how the fuck do I solve square roots on paper? What a Damn grind. I know case á =(2Pi - à)sin ..... Right? Maybe its 2/à not times. Anyway, when u the ends to do the LONG form for non right angles... No chance if remembering.... Even less of remembering then simplifying. I'm sure there is a fast way to solve but I'm not clued in.

Every graphing/scientific calculator*

I agree. It's a complete non issue. I guess if all the computers and programmers in this world died and every math book and calculator was burned and every note taken was lost..... Then we would have a need to remember it..... If we for some reason needed to find angles for arbitrary triangles that we already knew the length of the sides for..... Yep, that's Apollo needed.
-
Sleep now. Work early then take another swing at the math part tomorrow afternoon. Thursday and Friday are my last shot or else I need to take a trig/calc/stat course for a grand before starting the biotech program. Or I hold off on starting and really teach myself and enroll later. No matter what I'm sad I didn't do better.
-
I cannot memorize and breakdown all the full functions of the trig world then apply them into f(h(x)) type situations. Arbitrary triangle resolution is something I've never seen. I just faked it for some of the questions and worked logic hard. Polynomials etc fine.... I can at least see everything but when you start getting into the trig involving resolutions with Pi I'm fucked.

I've spent the last 6 hours taking more practice tests. And not angles like your thinking. More like: 2cosàø=y Solve for à
-
Well...... Reading scored high enough I got to skip half the test and the writing part. I used basic algebra and logic to the first 5-6 math levels. Slaughtered up to algebra 2. I needed 50 on the college level math. I only got 35. Sohcahtoa couldn't get me through the trig or the calc. It was all angles in relation to circles, and no right angles. I thinks it was the lambda symbol. Effed me up badly. They even threw in some imaginary number questions. Why this program needs that high of math I do not know.... The proctor was even suprised.

Indeed, I'd rather have the expedition. *excluding of course if I were able to sell either and take the cash Lol Me too honestly when I step back and look at it.
-
Thanks for the well wishes fellas. About to walk in. Taking remedial classes doesn't bug me. It's the wasted time that does. The program is a biotech science program, and from that I will either go into working on medical advances, or go into practicing. All depends on how the cards land and what I find more interesting( read profitable).

I have the crotch rocket and the home theater...... The car.... Not so much. 97 expedition does not quite match to a vette.
-
Jack took one last nap with me before telling me its time to get marching. Wish me luck, I don't want to spend cash on remedial classes.

Lol. Your a gentleman. this is me going back at nearly 30 with only a GED. Let that be a lesson to you whipper snappers. For right after HS. Then coll will be fun, not a pain in the ass while working and managing a life and wife. For those who do it after spawning.... Well that deserves a medal if the can work and school and raise little symbiotic parasites.
