    Welcome to the IHoP

From this statement you will be floored by the Hans G 28" in the high res. If you can tolerate movies in bed on a 22" the 28" will be epic and for gaming its on that edge of just right to almost too big.

    Welcome to the IHoP

For how long have you been with it and do you feel like going bigger? 3 years maybe a bit more. With how close I am I couldn't foresee a larger screen adding anything to gaming unless I wanted to put the display farther away, or use it as a tv. For hard gaming larger would be worse IMHO. It's also top dog resolution (within tripple the price) and speed. I don't get any blur and its bright. Like the surface of the sun bright. I turned it was down. The room mate who built my system continuously drools over it. Going larger would be nice if I wanted to sit farther back and use it like a tv but I have a couple flat screens around the house and a 10 foot anamorphic screen in the home theater. For up close and personal work it can't be beat especially since New egg was giving them away for $250 a while back. The detail ,speed of pixel change, resolution, and good design are much more important for a pc display.... Maybe if I was photoshoping huge images and wanted more realestate to work with, then it would be of value but then it would stretch the pixel size so that resolution would be less magical stretched over another 7 inches.

I'm still not sure WTF break in is, or if it will make these cans sound better, but they are just pure awesome. Need an amp something furious though.

    Welcome to the IHoP

I only hose down in the summer. I do however wear my birkenstocks and shorts regularly. I've also been known to shovel in nothing but shorts and a beater and still be soaked in sweat.

That rice is faster than uncle bens instant. Shazam. I would drive it if forced to I guess. Only because it has turbos though.

Wanna send you some flacs and wavs ? I might take u up on that. I'll have to find all my CDs too and re-record them. Not all mp3s suck, but some less than optimal recordings and bit sampling gets exaggerated so much by these cans. I got them for 99% gaming but I may find myself enjoying them for listening when the wife doesn't want to. I need to learn to have less overkill in my purchases and projects...... Oh it needs a small brace? Better go get some 12 by 12 railroad tie stock. Need to get to work and back? Liter race bike will do..... Shocks bad? Better redo the whole suspension system and upgrade the whole thing....

    Welcome to the IHoP

They have just stunning bass though. It's not as loud and forcefull as my in ear units... but they are awesome.

    Welcome to the IHoP

They absolutely need an amp though. On high energy music they are a bit "flat" sounding. It doesn't have that rich sound. Accurate to the point of annoying though. Makes the mp3s look pretty bad.

I don't understand how speakers work that well as 300 hours of break in sounds unreasonable. The whole concept is bizarre to me.

What did you get AKG 701 Quincy Jones edition. They were at BB and I had 90 bucks in gift cards and the box was beat to Hell so I made them give me a discount. At list price or even online prices I had trouble forking up. With "free" money and I got to haggle at BB the king of no haggling, I couldn't pass it up. The are SO comfortable.

I am confused, they have gone way up. Are you saying they are going to triple or they have tripled? I ask, because average credit went from 130k to 275k so far. I thought it was a higher jump lol. I just saw the graph for point/credits and it peaked up so high from the last time I saw it.

That clip always reminds me of animal from the muppets. And of course EVERY time I hear BR on the radio I now hear that version. That is my go to song for karaoke
