I can't scroll past that fucking quote without laughing. I need to turn signatures back off. ROFLMAO

mushrooms make you need to be outside. It's how they roll. Try having a buddy take you for a ride in the car at night when it's snowing. Every sparkling flake is magic. someone told me it is I mean.

The patented touch the outer corner of his eye move when he wants to look empathetic even looked weak with that public address.

My belief is guns kill people the same way spoons make them fat. The thing is I am willing to hear others opinions and discuss. I doubt someone could make me feel otherwise, but maybe. In this situation the guys trying to push some laws couldn't come up with an argument so they leveraged a group with no voice. Eff that noise. I can smell the BS and alligator tears from here.

LoL "Hey, what's an Idiot rod?" "A liberal with a boner." Best. Timing. Ever.

What's an Idiot rod?

Does Ohio have a guitar center.... or any other "musician" audio store. They will have TRUCKFULLS of PA gear. Listen to some way above your budget, some at your budget, and some below. Tell us what you liked then we might be able to help you find a good deal. That said, from what you have been saying, I do not think you have a CLUE how loud sound reinforcement equipment is. My guess is you also have never heard home theater equipment that has any relative umph behind it. When the "rave" scene existed and I used to set up equipment it is comical how little is actually needed for anything smaller than an amphitheater. Lot's of times the, especially for the smaller known DJ's doing drum and bass, they would cart in 4-8 PA speakers and in the smaller rooms, they would have to mute all but 2 of them because of cancelation issues, or they couldn't get it quiet enough. And it was loud to the point of pain with ear plugs in. Unless I am in a MASSIVLY open enviroment decent HT gear will do the job. And sound much much better at "normal" levels. I can fill 2 floors of house with uncomfortably loud music with my towers. If I use the itty bitty 12" HT sub I got on clearance(velodyne DPS for $260 6 years ago) it knocks paintings off the walls.... upstairs.... Reasonably priced HT gear will have way less issues with ear melting high hz. PA speakers are usually brutally "bright" and have less usable bass than a well thought out HT build.

As for bad guy vs bad leader.... it is a tough call, but I am drawing the line in the sand on the premise that for this instance, he has decided it is a good idea to hurt one group of the most defenseless to simply make a point. One that I just don't think he even believes in. If a new gun law saved a kids life, or an adults, or any life, then maybe it isn't so bad. And if it gave those parents who lost their kids some solace.... maybe that might be ok too. That just isn't the motivation and he made that clear. It was obvious in his rhetoric and the fact we had incidents happening at a high rate in his term and he allowed the supreme court to overturn Chicago and it's ultra no gun policy. He very obviously doesn't care about the policy, and just wants to play a "who writes more rules down" game. I didn't believe it before. I thought he was just drinking dem coolaide and wanted America to be better, no matter how misguided I thought his approach was. This flipped the script, and isn't a fox news sound byte. He just want's another peace prize, or symbol that he could one up the other guy. Not because it is what he believes, but because he just want's to arbitrarily one up some imaginary nemesis

I get a LOT of hate for being conservative. As a teacher, I bet you get some guff too SS. What is really the truth though, even if I disagreed with the policy, at least if he made it happen we could either find out it didn't work, or maybe improve a couple lives. What I have a real issue with is the fact I DO NOT believe he cares. I did, but I think I was either snowed, or his party got the best of him and his whole team. I thought he wanted to make America better, I just thought he was doing it wrong. I thought he believed in what he was doing for a while....... but I do not anymore. As a minority, who sold his whole platform as helping out the little guy, and a really intelligent man, I cannot believe that he didn't know he was fucking over every person who has even the slightest hint of "mental health issues". They don't vote, they don't loby and they don't have money. So how he treats them doesn't affect his campaign, so why not fuck them over right? Maybe we can toss in a "mental health patriot act" so if I ever even say I am depressed the dotguvfeds can show up at my door and make sure I cannot hurt myself or others. Take my ability to drive. Put me on a no fly list. Come on. He is smarter than all this. Most people are aware there is no real evidence of a relationship between guns(of any kind, black rifles or BB) and violent crime frequency or magnitude of the crime. The FBI did a massive study on it. Economists have studied it, and the best they come up with is that it is inconclusive on if guns prevent or increase crime(of any kind not just violent for that matter). But lets say he believes that guns do make an impact, and that making them less available will matter. Even if he does, then he shouldn't be a little smarmy pandering dirt bag and even mention mental illness. But again, the mentally ill are the weakest and most vulnerable of our culture. No one cares about them but the people who care FOR them. And they have a fiscal interest. Childern have parents, the elderly have money or children who care about them. But the millions and millions of people who have no voice are used as leverage for a weak bunch or people. I don't care if he is dem or repub, he and his whole staff are pathetic for this. I think his wife Michelle mentioned being embarrassed or something about the way the US treats people. I wonder if she is embarrassed now or just enjoys her clothing budget. This president was supposed to be the smart one after Bush. But the vote the same and if Bush hates black people as Kanye says, Obama must surely hate mentally ill people.

Have to vent. Have any of you guys seen the video of the pres in response to the shooting? His second address where he taps Biden to head the charge. I am........ more disappointed in our president than I have ever been. Even as a strong conservative I thought at least this term we might see something get done. The way all this stuff is being handled makes me so incredibly sick, and shows what a horrible horrible person our president is. To politicize this killing of kids...... and to mention mental health... what a depraved pathetic group of humans his camp must be filled with. Way to not even stand on your "gun control" beleifs but to rake the most vulnerable group of people in our country with no voice over the coals to push your agenda. Way to go. Strong arm the weakest group of people in our country only to make a completely useless win against your "opposing" party. Not even for a real change in policy, just a political, FU to the other party. People ALREADY have trouble seaking help with "mental health". Now you are going to crusade against that group of people? Good luck getting someone who really could use help to see a doctor now. What a sick desperate collection of weak people who can't even argue what the supposedly believe in. /rant

I can go sockless with the 5 fingers, but that is about it.
-
Yup. I don't even have normal "gym socks". I did buy some of the smart wool athletic socks but more often than not I just wear the light hiking. Cotton goes to shit if it gets sweaty. And then it gets nasty. Wool is sturdier, and regulates the moisture so much better. Smart wool hiking socks are really one of those "game changer" kind of amazing products.
-
Smart wool. Best bang for your buck by a looooooooooooooong shot. REI makes a good knock off too. You need to buy all wool though. Some synthetics do a better job, but they will cost way more and won't wear as well. If your feet stank in general, they would be a good investment. I wear them year round now. Cotton socks, even for the gym, are for chumps. :-D

No desire to step up to the plate? I agree 100%. Too few good people in good positions.

I will leave them on for a while so I can laugh every time.

OMG ROFLMAO. turned on signatures. Thanks Sean. I love how out of context that is. Immortalized.

Disgusting. All that is good about pizza is ruined in those things. Open face calzone/stromboli is all I see. Sounds great at about 2:15 am to me :-D I see way too much topping space requiring either way too much cheese or other fillings throwing off the beauty of the balance of a real za I completely understand what you mean after having good stuff. At time I still want a hot bowl of cheese with sauce and various chopped up animal parts. If I have to call t a pizza at 2 wm hammered. Then so be it.
-
Oh, how was the sledding trip Sean? Good powder up Nord? A lot melted in one day here, I wondered how it would affect your trails and ditches up there.

I thought they were both Chevy's. Everyone looses! LoL In MN we usually play those pulling games in the dirt or snow up north.
