My FILs 44mag is one of the best shooters I have ever tried. I bugholed 3 rounds with that thing. The weight and huge grip just allows for so much steady shooting. My 9mm xD is one of the least consistent shooters. I'm all over the target. Still working on my grip styles. I really need to do more dry firings.

.500 S&W or GTFO.

LOL. Awesome. My brother loves his regular XD9, and I hate to say I shoot it pretty darn well, better then the Grocks. But next pistola will be one of the Rock Island Armory 9mm 1911's. I want me some 1911 goodness, but in 9mm. The 1911 has less perceived recoil to her. The 9mm does feel a touch more..... snappy. I'm sure that could be worked out. I'm so curious about the double stack 1911 style pistols. If they shoot the same it may be my next dream. ATI makes some amazing pistols. If I ever get another 1911 I am going to paint my Springfield for the wife. She would flip. Nothing shoots like a 1911 that is for sure. Mine was only $500, and came with a case, a cleaning kit, couple holsters, ammo boxes, and extra parts.

R2, you know I got the 9mm XDm for my wife for Valentine's day... She likes my 1911 more. LMAO

I just wrote a lengthy post spilling all the details I could about home protection and firearms and decided to delete it. If you want to know more, I will get into it, but getting caught up on equipment and theory is no good. Buy a quality firearm like the M&P, and a truckfull of ammo and shoot the shit out of it. That is the most important.
-
It would be cool to have at that price.
-
I wouldn't buy it... Little more money and you are in M&P territory. M&P, glock, and XDm are my top picks. And they are in the 500-600 category new. You get a great kit and the ability to either costomize or replace parts easily. This is for home defense right? If so buy the largest physical she and you can handle. Compacts are not your friend, full frame is.

Get a reliable revolver. Maybe if I was in the situation of needing a gun and it was $200 or no gun I might try one, but truthfully..... I think I might jusy rather not have one.
-
550 with no extra shit is 260. That is a good deal. The primer loader might be nice..... powder dumper... well, I just say a "precision" ammo mfgr using a Dillon dumper and let it do it's thing. Probably more consistent than in could ever shoot.
-
I wouldn't buy a high point for any reason.
-
I know you can load rifle with them, but the time savings isn't that much if you are still measuring and weighing each brass and powder dump. The Dillon is 700 bucks or more for the rig, not including other stuff vs a buck fiddy for the RCBS.
-
Beat me to it!Do you load rifle with a Dillon or just the pistols.
-
Dillon square deal is great for pistols, rifle reloading usually makes you want to be a little more precise so no matter the press it will take time. Dillon rifle systems get spendy and will take a longer time to make the initial purchase worth the savings. An RCBS system or any other reliable system should do the trick for rifle loads. Unless you are gonna just load non precision rifle rounds. Then I think the Dillon would be the best bet.

I jus blew my nose and it cracked my back about half way down.

Had my regular doctor appointment. Told him I am off the diabetes meds and won't get back on unless I fail at loosing weight and get worse over the next 6 months. Going to take a BP med to protect the kidneys. Probably help with protein in teh piss He is going a full metabolic though and retest my free testosterone levels. I bet it's in the gutter. I feel like it is. Makes everything suck. Twice a day work outs are tough but I need it. My apt with the rheumatologist is what I really want. I need something for this pain. Its fucking me up so bad. I just got a HUGE wake up/reality check. Walked past a guy in booth at this breakfast joint, no legs. Not legs don't work and in a wheelchair. Hopped out his chair and kicking it in the booth with no legs. Definitely something to think about next time I look at stairs and think about how much they hurt my legs and hips.

I am so fucking scared of cortico steroids. :-( I will prolly have to be on them though.

Fo Sho.

should be totally fine Stefan.

You can, but it depends on depth you need and accuracy. I have hand drilled 4x4 with no problem. Can help if you have a level on the drill.
-
Did you propose? You won't find another.Should have, in hindsight. I was high as fuck from the steroid injections I got from the podiatrist. You need the man steroid shot next time. You won't miss a step. You would have swept her off her angst laden feet and been getting it on in the barn in no time.

I think I will be ordering from them soon. I have been gunshy for a long time since my last poor experience. It was only one order but it has made me hesitate for years, especially with Costco being so cheep for so long. Costco price went up.... so I might be ordering again from TN. So many good reviews here.

I would lick off her painted on pantiez.
