I might merge the two iHops together to see how the database handles it. Clearly, that is not what was causing the SQL errors.Oh shit! I thought that was a joke when you mentioned it before. The hop has to be one of the longest threads on teh web.

Now that I have confirmed in my house, Skyfall. The subway crash scene. Ultra bass in your face. Dynamite/propane explosion was nice too. The train scene is awesome though.

Chili sounds good. Had a late VD dinner. Bourbon creme sauce with mushrooms and pepercorns on some 1.5" or thicker dry aged rib eyes. A little risotto. Baby greens salad. Tiramisu for dessert. Yummerz.

Everything I've read on them leads to shortened life.Just shorter coil life? I'm in a bind for cash and as long as it won't hurt the truck.... I may have to go with something cheeper for now.:-( Pretty much. Why are you dead set on replacing them all? Just replace the bad one.I have had a definate problem with 4. And I think they was it just stuttered on me when the temperature got warmer that more are bad. When the coolent sprayed it soaked the whole engine. I had to fill it and limp it home a couple more blocks. I have limited access to a garage. My garage is too smal for my truck so I need to schedule time with a friend to help me/let me use his place. He happens to be a tech so it should all go smooth, but I would hate to replace the 4 confirmed ones to have ths others shit on me. And again, originally I used those global plugs and it was the same price for 8 as it was for 3.

Do you smell maple syrup and feel like unlocking your door and giving up your guns?

It is going to be a tough sell. $300+ tax for motorcraft plugs or <100 for china plugs, or the 180 or so for the summit ones. Those global ones worked for a few years....but failed just as fast as the motorcraft ones. I also just read that motorcraft gets them built in china now.... Ryan you said the performance ones have issues, do hey fuck up other parts or just not as "reliable."

Can I ask where you got your information? I have been using FG for years and had a very in depth discussion with a vendor many moons ago about the differences between resins, and was informed there is wax in ester resins that floats to the top to cover the uncured layer of resin left behind. Im not saying you are wrong, but this is contrary to everything I've ever heard about ester resins.Strangely enough I have read what Quentin says today. And I too got the same information about wax from my supplier. I do all layers in one go (or as much as possible), cold mix and it turns out nice. I've been thinking today about building a fiberglass hood for the Jeep, although I see way too much work to be worth it other than for cool factor. Carbon fiber!

Why the hell did you order parts from MN? LoL

OEM MotorCraft only. They are the only ones that seem to hold up and actually work. Go to any forum and you will see the stories of people who swayed from MotorCraft and how they just ended up spending more in the long run. You'll also find some interesting reads on the "performance" coils. That is so interesting. On 2 of the truck forums I am on they almost all used the globals.I will look more into the "performance" thing. I didn't understand how they could be any better, but I wouldn't have expected them to be worse. Motorcraft plugs are nearly twice the price. So for a set of 8 I'm looking at nearly 400 bucks. Call Tousley Ford in White Bear Lake. I ordered some last year at $37 each.Holy shit! Great price. Thanks.

Ryan, Seth, who would you use for coil on plugs? I tried to clean mine out, but it's a lost cause and the missfire just got worse. The truck isn't in protect limp mode, but she is not happy. I have stopped driving her until I can get a new set. Last time I used a company called Global and they did just fine, until the radiator hose puked all over. I can't find the kit for my truck anymore. I am HORRIBLE at using ebay so maybe I am missing it. http://stores.ebay.com/GLOBAL-TRADING/_i.html?rt=nc&_sid=192283292&_trksid=p4634.c0.m14.l1513&_pgn=1 I found these also, I don't know if there is anything to a "performance" CoP of if it is flim flam, but it's the second best price I have found so far. The Accell CoP's are 200.
