    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Rep. Young suggests drinking alone is best. You are never alone with a bottle. Empty or not, you have a friend.

...maybe the truck gets worked on a different day.... hard to get motivation this morning. Birthdays shouldn't be for chores.

Buy 2 chickens. Old hens if possible. Spatchcock them at the spine and then sear the skin. Use bacon fat and make sure to salt liberally. Flip chickens over and lay skin side up in a pan that can collect juices. Under the chickens have celery, carrots, garlic clovers cut in half and onion. A little more EVO on top and roast slowly until just under done temp. Let cool enough to separate bones and chicken. Put bones and juices in a roasting pan and add enough water to cover about half the bones salt bones and add any herbs you may want. Splash or 2 of soy sauce. I reccomend taragon as one of the herbs. Salt and pepper well, then roast bones in oven. Once bones are roasted put into a large pasta pot. If you have the straining liner use it. Fill pot with water and vigerous bring to boil, then gentle bubbling simmer. Simmer for an hour or so with a closed lid. Taste broth and fix what ever needs to be fixed. Then strain. Bring broth to a boil and ladle over rice noodles and chicken. If you want more traditional simmer carrots and later celery. then add broth and veg into a bowl with cooked noodles (fat home made egg noodles are best). Make sure to keep the noodles and soup separate until serving. two major problems. 1 - use duck fat, 2-don't ever boil it'll cloud it all up. Simmer is fine.Huh..... I don't know about the clouding up thing. I never noticed...probably don't care much either. I also don't know where to get duck fat. If I did I would fill a bathtub and confit myself.

I won't tell you that it takes me about an hour and a half to tune them up. I know I am teh suck. Learned a lot though. A few of the plugs were locked in tighter that two big digs in a Chinese finger trap.

    Welcome to the IHoP v.2

My everything hurts. While changing the plugs a spring shot up in the yard next to my garage. Just water shooting up from the ground..... pipe for an outside spigot on the garage burst. Happy birthday to me. The upside is my truck still has a missfire but it is soooooo small. Awesome sauce. I can accelerate uphil! Its amazing! Went for a good little drive to see how it runs. Took some photos of the twin cities here. Gooooood times. Oil change tomorrow morning and finish the plugs on Sunday. I am ultra thankful for the wifes help today, my temper was getting out of control for a while. Her hands made fast work of some of it. She told me her dad had her be his tool gofer and flashlight technician, it was kind of cool to do that together. Weird but cool. I am also thankful for my massage appointment tomorrow. Definitely going to schedule a 2 hour one for next week before my job starts if at all possible.

I had a panny before the braun, it sucks in comparisonShit I guess I did good then. Wife said she approves. Will be nice to have a better travel option. I have only had shitty norelco that I used in the showers for electronic.

I just use a hair trimmer. I know it's not shaved smooth and shit, but it takes five minutes, and I no longer look like an al qaeda. I usually do that too. Somewhere between stubble and beard. New job says clean shaven, so at least through training. And if I wake up late I can grab and go vs a razor needs water etc etc. Figured the new job called for it. How much was the braun?Talked best buy into 180.

Sean, did you ever use that indochino groupon? Thinking about getting some tailored shirts. I can't find any big shirts in higher quality locally.

Used to have to ice my face as the shave burn would be so bad. New razor every thave too. Maybe now that I am older it wouldn't be so bad, but in general with my psoriasis and inflammation issues I doubt it would be. And a collar and tie do not feel good on shave bumps.
