I would say the 441 or 461 would make you very happy. You're strong enough that the weight won't piss you off too much, and having the ability to put a longer bar on the saw is nice because of your height. They are the same weight. The 441 MS has engine management where the 461 does not, I believe. So, 461 might be your best option on paper because the extra 2 pounds from the 661 will only slow you down as you're not sinking it into big wood. I get really tired with this saw, but it will cut big hard wood. I feel like the RPMs are slower than the 441, and that means the 441 will probably process firewood faster. I havent used a 461 so I can't give you a personal take. I can tell you that the largest trees I've ever cut were with a 441, long before I got my 661 when I worked for the state and it was fine. The larger saw was a waste of money for me so far. The tree i planned on dropping is looking really healthy now. I could have cut the pines with a farm boss honestly. The one saving grace of these big saws is having a long bar. It saves my back so much when I'm limbing. I can't stress that comfort enough.

Deal. I have one but I doubt it's gonna help with soft targets.

Not with the whip. But it feels weak. I figured that it would be good enough. I have 3/4 acre and for whatever reason I grow more wooded weeds than grass. Two dried up ponds are a nightmare.

The 90fs feels weak.

Damn. I hope that size of the trimmer wouldn't matter. Thanks gents.

I need some advice on weed whips. I have the FS90. It's so fucking weak. Way better than the poulan but it's not really great. I'm stuck with it however. Does the line matter that much? I use the stihl standard line but I feel like it's going through the line way faster than I'm used to and that it cuts like shit. Any recommendations on line?

Chisel or GTFO. A safety chain will cut your leg off just as easy. Nothing "safe" about them IMO.

Let me bring my 661 down. The only downside for me is that I didnt get the wrap handle. I know this too, it's choked out. I can feel that it wants more rev and more air but it just doesnt get there. I want to send it to get ported and a new muffler. It has A SHIT LOAD more grunt in the motor that they are probably going to sell incrementally as upgrades. It's the best saw in the line up if you have the back for it. I can limb a 30' without taking a break. For me the ability to run al ong chain means I dont have to hunch over as much. Dont look up what tree monkey or mastermind can do to a saw. You won't believe the difference. You can throw it around the 661 for a bit. It's heavy. But I actually like the heft when I'm feeling, but you might decide it's just stupid for small logs. Honestly, I think the 440 is the biggest you would ever need, and that is over kill OMO. You are the overkill God. My friends dad would cut trees the same size I do with a 440 or smaller, but he lives in the woods cutting firewood. His son(shot his wedding in PR) keeps a nice tuned up 440 and it can do basically anything. Revs up like a beast. The 440 plus some nice dogs and a 25" bar would serve you so well. From what I hear St Paul saw has the best deals out there. They get a lot of city contracts too. I should have shopped harder but I purchased a few tools at once from a really close by shop and it was a good enough deal for me.

Stihl. How big of a tree/limb will you need to handle?

The scariest winter car I drove was an auto tranny oldschool nissan Z car. Don't remember the number but it was the wedge style.

I had a hemi charger in CT for 20 days and everyone thought I was nuts when I said it felt slow. The transmission was soooooooooo bad. I did have fun spinning the rear tires though. Hahaha

I hated the type R, got to spend a week with my assistant managers. I shouldn't say hated. I just thought it was less exciting and less comfortable and less solid than the other cars at it's price. I'm also not shaped for that small of a car. His had as many problems as the 550. Just cheeper to fix. Kinda. My CPO covered more. He traded it in for a Miata.

I will clarify. I don't want a Corvette for snow days. Or an M3 even. But the FWD biased AWD is scary as shit for braking. If I had an RWD sports car, not just comfy car, I would want an SUV or truck also. The expedition never failed me in RWD mode but I did put it in 4wd when the weather got crazy and I wanted to play. The 550 has xdrive and it's great. All the FWD cars I've driven in the snow and FWD biased AWD vehicles pull to one side when braking or accelerating and that's scary as fuck now that I've felt what it's like to not have that torque steer

I dont buy that it's more reliable than the twin power inline 6. At all. That inline 6 has been one of the most awarded engines ever. I don't know shit about Honda other than all my friends who have the sporty ones all got rid of them and all the late model sporty ones had issues right after the warranty dropped. I don't buy the hype about reliable fun Asian sports cars anymore. Maybe some Acura vehicles are not terrible but I hope I never have to drive a fwd or (AWD with front bias) car again, unless technology gets way better. I feel less safe, especially on ice or snow. I didnt nkw what confidence in a car was until the germans.

Speaking of brofessor my workout yesterday was super legit. Repped 225 on flat and 215 on decline with reasonable ease. That has been a struggle while cutting. Standard bro day work out with my buddy is steep incline, incline, flat dumbell, then flat barbell, decline barbell, leg raised tricep dips, chest pull overs with a hip thrust, skull crushers, tricep kickbacks superset with tricep overhead dumbell extensions, heavy bar curl, seated incline dumbell curls superset with spider dumbell curls, then preacher curls. 3 sets each.

I bet I'm going in a little too hot. It's my curse. Thanks for your feedback. I wasnt actually worried about exact temp but it's nice to know. They have electric kettles that take you right to your desired temp now for read and such. I wonder how accurate it is. I'm definitely at a tablespoon per cup. I may bring that ratio up but I am pretty happy. Today might be a good testing day. Only got a couple hours of sleep. Forgot to renew the tabs so I had to drive the wife to work so I could go get tabs at the DMV. I should probably take a nap to make up for my tragic mistakes and misfortune, but why when I can cause an arrhythmia via coffee.

Let me tell you about the first year on their reverse flow first year V8. Hahaha

They are surprisingly "ok" after going for a swim. I wouldnt want to deal with it, but those sled guys don't mind taking it down and cleaning it off. The engines are usually "simple" 2 strokes and can be blown out and back to running pretty quick.

I was just sitting outside a camp fire talking about sleds on water. Crazy shit!
