I can deal with 16 hour days if the pay is right. Beats 24 on 24 off any day.J Not unheard of for 6 figure sales people in good markets with good stores.South Fla is a great market. So is Texas.

I made a lot of money today, and I think I will make a Fuck load more this weekend. I <3 fourth of July. So much work, but the pay of is kind of nice.

Jon, you the man. Stay there for little Hommie!

J never mind. Don't sell mattresses! Extended hours blow donkey dick! 9:00pm sons of Bitches. Lol Better than before though I used to have 16 hour days and stay till 10:00pm. It is one of the easiest good paying jobs and one of the tougher high paying job. But here is some perspective, at 19 & 20 partying every night me and my buddy made 70-90k. I was clocking 70 hours a week back then though. Now it's more like 40-60 depending on meetings and holidays for not too much of a pay cut. And it is was more consistent than back in the day.... And the pity pay is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.

Work in sales for a while, that will change. Sean probably has some sage advice like the best sale for company is always the one that meets the customer's needs first. But downward pressure to hit your numbers (if it's really a "sales" job) takes it's toll, and your ideals go out the window pretty damn quickly. I'm a non-salesman stuck in a sales job. I had always envisioned myself behaving the way you describe....here I am 7 years later behaving exactly the opposite. 15 years in sales and still feel work with the fact that my customers needs and mine are the same. I'm lucky, the industries I have worked in have all been in bettering people's life. I am also fairly certain that I do my job better and with less problems than almost every other person out there.... So it feels andis honest for me. maybe I am just a sales person.

I know mattress firm rewards you for not beating someone up to buy and making them happy from the start. Really mattresses, furniture and to a different degrees cars are the pinnacle of retail. Sales is tough though. I did do some math though and even on my first month, without any sales in the hopper from a prior monthand I had a whole week off and missed 2 days because of emergency, I made pretty good $$$. Enough to live on.

Go sell mattresses. It is a stable industry and in Fla it's a cake walk. If you are ok with sales that is. It's like pulling teeth in some parts ..:coughMNcough:

My washer was delivered through a hole in the floor. Happens when you have a spiral staircase....

My dryer is slowly going out. I refuse to let the wife know. I wouldn't buy one that matched the washer when I got it, so she won't forgive me. Washer is a beast though. Direct drive bad ass mother fucker from LG.
