I thought I sold your dad a bed the other day. Guy was about 6'4 and had a crazy resemblance.

When I was young I would slouch because I was so big. Always thought I was an asshole when I stood up and had open posture.

Dubstep + subwoofer under desk + really sensitive optical mouse = it looks like I have Parkinsons.

It's a cool idea for you for sure. Makes less sense when you are close to the Machine.

I find a non-Turbo S not practicalTouche!

The cube on the used market was one of the best car PC options for a loooooong time.
-
It is a trio for sure. The mac cube was one of the best designs ever. Masterpiece for sure. Maybe this one will be great too.

My guts are fucked up too this morning.

The case being key to good flow. The PSU is the real hot part, so when you can, have it at the top of the case. My case is the Nzxt Phantom full tower. I got the white one because it was $20 bucks cheeper at the time... Maybe even a bigger discount. I can always take it to the paint booth and give it a pump paint job! I wanted Orange real bad, but I'm too thrifty.

SSD will also usually cut heat down too. No moving parts, and less electric draw = cooler running.
-
My tower has a cool design of a pair of big 200's on the top of the case. So I can use naturally rising hot air properties to my advantage. The radiator for the CPU rides under the top and I effectively have a push pull radiator flow. Pluss then the radiator itself helps cool the tower. The ideal set up is a tower with only a couple fans and a pump, and then an external radiator with a Fuck load of fans.

It will massively extend the life of your machine and the speed at which it runs over time... And to the real point, it allows you PC to stay relevant longer. I can spend half the $$ and run a moderate overclock and the processor will stay cool so it won't have the wear and tear.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181032 That thing, but I got it for less and got $15 mail in rebate.

I never thought it was reasonable, but I might be inclined to water cool my GFX cards next time. The cost is kinda silly for the set up, but the much quieter operation would be cool. Big radiator, maybe even put it externallyand have a few silent fans on it.... I am so happy with the stand alone water cooler for my processor. It functions so amazingly well. It's cheeper than the top of the line air coolers, and keeps the processor chilly Willy as all hell.
-
Your distance is nice. Makes it ok to go with louder cheeper fans... Or maybe not cheeper, just ones that move the most air.

I have done it a long time to great success. Now someone did the math to prove what I knew to work. Maybe I should say believed to work.
-
I would love to replace all my fans with noctua fans. The radiator for the coolant on the CPU is a little loud, as are the others. It wouldn't make too much of a difference however, it's the damn GFX cards that make all the damn noise anyway. Those loud sons of Bitches are annoying in stereo.

My office chairs now have that new car smell. Detailed them with some Mothers/meguires cleaner/protector. Lmao

Mono=Asus They have been rock solid in the last 4-5 builds. My cheepo (for a hyper game machine) mono is managing a decent 30% OC on my CPU for me. It feels no stress.

Not that the speed is even close to useable on our machines, but it's a lot like owning a turbo S. Not useful for most practical things, but when you can use it, it will put a smile on your face.
