I go to the gym and walk in the pool. It's ok. It's just hard and embarrassing when I hurt, and the pools are shallow for a 6'2 guy. :-)

Who knows, maybe you have it just as bad, but acute and not consistent. My mother in law had necrotising pancreatitis, so I like to think about how lucky I am. When I hurt though, I'm about as selfish and self absorbed as I can be. I hate that, but I am when it's bad.

Exercise, exercise, exercise, glucosamine sulfate and fish oil are about the only things that help the arthritis. Heat for 20 and then ice for 20 at night, if nothing else just the ice. Always end with ice. You can do it Matt! Sure can. Just sucks donkey Dick. I'm feeling better in general, but the mornings are absolutely absurdly painful. Weather isn't helping.

Well at least in my case and the case for my friend with rheumatoid.

So I'm hemorrhaging money. Just got an elliptical. I have to get on it every morning now I guess. I don't know how to work out as a sick person. :-( I don't know how to rehab arthritis. Have a special apt with my specialist on Friday. Hopefully he can give me drugs to stop this flare and then help me plan for the next. I still need to buy a driveway! Those lenses just got more expensive, lol.
