Thanks for all the well wishes guys. This drug is supposed to be magic. Should be at $2500 a pop though. 4 shots a month ATM and maybe taper down/off if I respond as hoped/expected.

Don't be sorry. If this shit is working I will be exceptionally healthy soon. I was taking 2 Tylenol every 5 hours, 2 asprin and 2 ibuprofen with my Tylenol in the AM, 4 ibuprofen in the afternoon then, then 2 Aleve at night. On top of 3-6 large coffee drinks or energy drinks just to get by. Vicoden did nothing but get me high, and being high and hurting sucks unless it's high to help me sleep. Vicoden wakes me up though. I even had a narcolepsy drug to wake me up, and tried wellbutrin too. Then I moved onto Tylenol and Tramadol in the AM with some aspirin or Ibuprofen, then Aleve at night and a second dose of tramadol in the afternoon/evening if it was bad, and cyclobenzeprine 2-3 times a week to sleep. And of course tons of caffeine and OTC stimulants. This is the least pain I have been in. And I'm off my BP and diabetes meds. I probably shouldn't be off the diabetes meds but my BG is the same on or off. Those meds make me even more tired, so I stopped so I could get exercise in.

This EXACT second, I feel great. But I'm high on generic Sudafed a bit of Tylenol for this ongoing headache and a pretty (mild for me) amount of caffeine.

I might try some. Since I'm relatively inactive I try to stay away from sugar to keep my diabetes in check. Maybe mix it with water to stretch it further. Maybe just buy some banana bags and water bags from a medical supply dealer. Why drink when you can IV?

I'm also quite dry. I think I'm pissing out a lot of water that has been retained, and it's drying me out. Water tastes gross unless it's ice cold though. Even sparkling. And I cannot drink enough. Makes me feel ill. Been supplementing with sugar free Gatorade, juice mixed with bubble water, and fruit essence flavored sparkling water. It's helped but I'm forcing it down.

So I called the pharmacy to ask how long the sleepy and shit "flu like symptoms" will last. A month. Upside? My skin is clearing up already. Some outside time and the meds are doing magic. I can only hope it's happening in my joints too. Took a handful of Sudafed and have a couple energy drinks on and I'm a bit less sleepy. 10 hours of sleep and you think I would be awesome right? At least it's not the painful worn out feeling when I'm having a flare up. I can feel my overall inflammation going down. For lack of a better word, my body is more peaceful. I''ve been more active, but when I do sit, I feel I can get up and move a bit easier. I can't tell if my joints actually feel better though as one of the "flu like symptoms" is joint pain. I cannot eat big meals though. For right now it's like a biological lap band. Not entirely bad. Loss of appetite scares me, but this is more like, loss of ability to eat too much. What is annoying is my CONSTANT craving for candy or ice creme. I could eat ice creme for every meal. I do like ice creme, but not like this. And I have never been someone to crave candy, but I sure do the last 3 days.

You walking a fine line my friend. Saint John Moses Browning was imbibed with the spirit of all things holy when he divined the holy 1911.Like the flaming sword of Michael, a truly righteous weapon. Just not a fan of the assembly, and balance when loaded.J I was just jaw jacking ya. What do you mean assembly? I'm curious as to what is well balanced when loaded to you? All the polymers are ok when loaded but change so drastically as you fire. I shoot both and love both. For me nothing beats a 1911 trigger however and I like the weight.

Shit Did he give you any advice or steps to get going in the right direction?Take the meds, get exercise and my quality of life will improve drastically. The inflammation is visible bad on my knee and psoriasis patches. If those cool down a bunch then after a few months I can cut back if I want. If it still works at a lower dose for a few months, then cut back more. Maybe come off in a couple years. I made the right choice. I feel better knowing my skin will clear up at minimum.

I got my first shot of enbrel today despite me walking in wanting to not be on it. Thankfully my doctor is both smart and compassionate, and doesn't mind taking time to go over what I feel. Even though I think I feel great today he showed me how some of my joints are still not articulating like they should. Even though it's summer solstice my skin is really broken out in scales, and I still have fluid in my bad knee. He basically told me my quality of life is probably crap right now, but I just don't notice the pain anymore because I have had it for a long time, and the flare ups are so debilitating that this up swing feels great, but is really just kind of junk.

They had height waivers for certain positions. Tanks you need to be small, boats aren't really our thing, and unless you wanted mechanic you would need to be an Officer for flight. J I looked at Navy, Marines and Coast Guard. You're right, I could have signed up to be an officer. But my size would have been a problem on the boats according to the recruiters..... At that time at least. I didn't exactly want to be a Marine charging into battle. None of the recruiters really pushed any jobs that sounded interesting and I was making way too much money to join for anything but the highest payscales.

6'2 Not too tall to join period, just for most of the jobs I was interested in. Basically anything that dealt with boats, planes, or tanks I was not gonna be a part of.

I was faster and stronger than almost everyone I knew but I wouldn't have been able to join. Too fat. Too tall also. Only a couple jobs that I would have been allowed to do and none were worth it.
