5960=$1000 for the chip alone. I did find a nice deal, but it a still absurd. Especially when the other less expensive parts will probably overclock better/more efficiently.
-
Once the roommate has my old parts punching numbers too and the wife's old machine is just a boinc machine it should be pretty cool.
-
Yeah man. I popped for the 8 core 16 thread and just got a pair of 980GTX. No overclock yet. I was going to tell you Aaron, we have an really nice, but used, case. It's optimized for super quiet running. If you would want it, it's yours, it's just holding dust for us.
-
Aaron do you see a jump in BOINC? When I look at the graphs it looked impressive... But then everything changed on me.
-
....I miss Helga...... :-( :'-(
-
Numbers man. You could be doing at least 75% of that with the 6 core. I haven't even overclocked it. Had to exchange the RAM too..... Upgraded for less $$$
-
Aaron.... Look at those BONC #'s...... 0_0

Glad to hear it. One of these days I might get around to having a "fun" car but right now Eileen is more than enough. What a name, I mean.....Come on, Eileen? Hehehe You know what I mean? Heheheheh What kind of whip is it?
-
I do that at 10 degrees.

It is interesting how I have not murdered the kid who hit me...... Best car I have ever had, and I am the least emotional about it.
-
Next time I'm out sincerely car shopping I am going to hope the Porsche bubble is over, get my GT3 or Turbo and then a comfy sedan or pickup. If not. It will be another time I shoot my whole wad on a mid to large executive type car. I love Helga. She is perfect at her job. It would take 2-3 cars to fulfill what she does.

That one is beautiful Peng.... It was not a particularly exhilarating drive when I tested drove one. It also had the old iDrive. That thing was painful.

NO. For sitting doing nothing Down >>>> Wool. If doing exercise Wool >> Down. If doing UBER exercise Wool >>>> Down.I have never had an outdoor coat that kept me as warm as my wool/cashmere topcoat. My down coat was supposed to be the warmest out there, and was much thicker than the ones he is looking at. I had a down long coat and it was ok, but not as nice as my wool topcoat. Either way, neither could be used for activities other than driving or standing. as for fit, the down coat was correct, the topcoat was big unless I wore several layers. I never did. Just t shirt and dress shirt.

Sorry man. Couldn't help but troll a bit. :-) I have 16 threads of compute power now. Woot.
-
This is a nice coat, great deal on it too! http://www.ehaberdasher.com/servlet/the-8505/Kiton-Coat-cln--47-fdsh-48-XXX-dsh-Large/Detail
-
That is the way I would go for sure. I would rather have something I could be active in and would fit 99% of my low activity needs. As Sean mentioned before, if you are doing nothing but sitting/standing a wool long coat will be the best Damn thing ever!

http://www.smartwool.com/clothing/baselayers/mens-nts-micro-150-pattern-crew.html Think of it as subsidizing something like this. Maybe not paying for it completely, but going towards it. Especially epic if you are a stinky sweating person. My Viking heritage means my gentlemen's musk can attract women from miles if not properly kept in control.
-
Of you are going to be doing anything active, I would pick the 3 in one and then spend a bit extra on a thermal shirt for super cold days.

The what the who the where?Lots or untzuntz and wubwubwub So glad I am nowhere near it...You just need some Molly and a bag full of shrooms
